First cycle at 22

Hello,

I got into peptides back in June and started with reta and have lost 45 poounds since.

Im currently 22, 5'8, 233 pounds (~20% bf from 2 dexa scans). I have been lifting naturally for almost 10 years now and powerlift. 570/365/650. Im doing my first cycle at 300mg a week (150/150). My goal is to do a small healthy bulk top put on some extra muscle and then do pct in the February range, or do a trt dose until my meet in April and the follow that with PCT. I will be adding HCG week 3 and then will increase doasge post cycle.

*one note ill say is this, obviously I'm young, but I have not woke up with morning wood in the last 3 years. My test was 485 total and 85 free last checked.

My question is this: is it worth adding HGH and or Primo towards the end or save for another cycle? (im assuming the latter based off what research I have done)

I will also be taking Reta (1-2mg) bpc/tb500, gltuahtione, NAD+, tesamorelin (if no hgh) and doing a small bulk (.5/week)

Then i have NAC, fish oil, zinc, b-complex, multi vitamin, etc.

Can post all bloods and dexa too
 
I will tell you what most will. Lose more weight. You have too much fat still. I'd try to get around 205/215. You'll get more out of the cycle. Test is the best 1st cycle. 300 is good 500 is good too 10-12 weeks. Take it from there and do blood work to see how your body handles. Add in other compounds down the road. This isn't a race. You're young and build slow. MAke sue you have PCT down pat too.

I'll add that your test numbers are not ideal at your age. Most will do trt in the 300's. You're borderline imo. I'd do a pct after this cycle then check test to see where you are and test every 6 months. Once you start TRT you generally don't stop. Have you had other test checks? If this in the only one you might have been off. You need a time line to show over time.

Right. I saw same thing with losing some more weight, but I have lost 45 pounds in 4 months, and mentally drained. My estrogen was 42 on bloodwork, so I have arimidex on hand, although I won't use unless sides. PCT, I have clomid and Nolva as well as HCG.

Do you think it's better to do like the 12 week cycle and then trt cruise until April meet? Or do PCT in Feb?
 
Right. I saw same thing with losing some more weight, but I have lost 45 pounds in 4 months, and mentally drained. My estrogen was 42 on bloodwork, so I have arimidex on hand, although I won't use unless sides. PCT, I have clomid and Nolva as well as HCG.

I wouldn't cruise at 22. PCT and let your body get your hormones back in check. I still wouldn't
start until you lose more weight. You might gain a ton of water or E2 goes crazy as sides or might not. Set yourself up for success and drop more weight.
 
I want to say this too. Power lifting and weight go hand in hand. What are your goals? Strongest you can be or physique?
strong, but not fat. I think 205 would be a great weight and i think powerlfitng america hasd a weigth class at 205 or like 198 or whatever
 
Ok. Test is always going to be your base. Read a lot here and other members will probably chime in. Powerlifting and strength is a whole different approach compound wise imo. Getting a test cycle under your belt is a good way to start.

why. drop the drugs, lose the weight dude. You don't need anabolics to lose weight, and you don't need HGH at 22

You're right. I think i will do a 3-4 week maintenence period though now. I just recovered from the flu and strength is in the shitter.

Once I recoup some back, I’ll head down to
205-215.

If you're mentally drained, don't start a cycle, even if your bf% is in a good spot (and it isn't). I'd also recommend waiting a few more years in general, just because your body still has a variety of systems still developing that AAS can negatively impact, but I know that that is a lost cause.

You need to have your training, diet, and recovery all on point. You need to be pushing yourself hard to make the most out of things. And especially on the first cycle, you've got to keep an eye on how you react to everything. Being mentally drained is setting you up for taking on all the risks of using PEDs while also making it less likely you'll get all the benefits.

Get down to 10-12% bf. Maintain there for a bit to recover from the dieting. Get well rested. Then start. There's also no such thing as a healthy bulk when you're already at 20% bf.

yea fair enough, healthy bulk at 20% is an oxymoron lol. But yea i've leaned to continuing reta and cut for like 8 weeks. that should put me at 215 range. Dexa scans had me at 190 muscle, granted I lost some, so 215 should be roughly 15% or less.

I am only mentally drained from the flu tanking my lifts 100 pounds each in like 2 weeks lol. I've been consistent in the gym for 9 years. Never taken more than a week off unless very sick, or surgeries.

No point in lying, but I took the first two shots already this week at 250mg test c (125/125). I will use it to help me continue to cut down.

Im not looking to be a body buidler or do 5 cycles a year for life. If i only get 80% value out of it, Im okay with it. Just want a little boost right now and then reaccess in the future after proper PCT and bloods.
