8/20/25 labs yielded a fairly typical snapshot of lipids for the past 5+ years for me. Every single time I've tested, I would just get disgusted and mentally punt it to the next labs "they'll be better next time." Only they never got better. I have always been paranoid about statins, making ignorant claims about muscle loss, but there has been such a hard push by some members about cholesterol, especially regarding Pita, I decided I finally needed to do something about it regardless of risk of myalgia. Lab image from below is on a 30mg spread of Test P, Mast P, and Primo E per day. Diet has been locked down hard for a few years, all in varying degrees of caloric deficit. Everything is clean, tracked, and logged. Even micros to a certain extent, but I probably need to update those. Right now, macro spread is 160p, 235c, and 40f. I'm a small guy but fit and fairly cut. I haven't been eating enough calories to really make any strength gains, focusing more on leanness. I also tend to burn protein in higher amounts, as I'll smell ammonia in my workout clothes, so I use a bit less protein than most. I have, however, found my line of actual recomp, and I have been gaining small amounts of muscle each month. Not losing muscle during deficit is a win for me.

On 9/2/25, I decided I needed to get my shit together with cholesterol. I chose Pravastatin 40mg at the time because Telyrx just didn't have Pitavastatin, which was my preference. I also added in Ezitimibe 10mg and Niacin ER 1000mg. My plan was to eventually switch to Pita but at least get started on something. A little over six weeks later, I retested on 10/17/25.

HDL still sucks but actually went up a few points. Everything else had incredible reductions. This isn't even the max dose of Pravastatin (40mg). I'm absolutely pleased with these results and have had
zero problems with any kind of muscle-related issues from the statin. I wasted years on fearing a problem that doesn't exist for me.
This is also
on Tren A 30mg a day, as well. The worst of the labs showed elevated liver, with AST of 35 (top end of range) and ALT of 53. These are typically in the mid 20's, and these values are also with injecting 100mg of Glutathione every other day. I'm going to bump that to every day for now until I stop the Tren in about four weeks.
