I've yet to try a lat injection, probably never will. Don't do IM glute injections either as I only injection 0.5cc at a time and use 5/16" 31g insulin pins only.
My inj site I've found is the hip flexors (top front of thigh, near groin). I neither feel the injection nor get any PIP.

Btw I've injected the DHB alone too and it is truly PIP free - it's 100mg/ml from DutchPharma USA. I'm sure OEP will be equally good if he makes it! I've noticed absolutely nothing from it at 15mg/day, other than the biggest increase in strength I've noticed from anything I've used - including tren and trestolone.
in case people wanted to know the VG, these seem to be the best example of where it is and where to inject, i personally use a 25 g 1" and bury that bitch to the HILT and its painless and i have dumped about 2+ ml at a time so it can handle a bit of volumeView attachment 351734View attachment 351735

I only do glute injections, I tend to "try" to rotate between VG and DG. I do 4 weekly injection so inject each side of each muscle once per week. I have no idea if I'm actually hitting them perfectly which bugs me. I try my best, I also try and flex my glutes to see it pop. At the end of the day I think my 1.5inch needle should guarantee IM.So one's VG and one's DG.
VG is much further in front. Maybe i'll inject some bac water just to test it out lol
