Hi all. I've been on glps for a while, but they don't seem to be doing much for me.
Currently on 20mg tirz, and I've been on it for at least a year, plus another year prior on Sema.
I initially lost about 10kg, but basically just stalled after.
Bought from QSC in the past, as well as SRY this time.
I get it that not every person responds the same, as well as upping the physical activity will help (just like with any attempt of losing weight)
Is there anything else i can try? Am i doing something wrong?
Thanks Ghoul for taking this seriouslySounds like you're a non-responder. It's genetic.
Sema's going to be offered in doses up to 7.2mg to address the issue of non-response. It's safe and the trials have demonstrated that all "non/weak responders" will eventually respond if the dose is high enough.
Where did you stop with Sema?
Did more weight loss happen once you switched to Tirz?
Thanks Ghoul for taking this seriously
It was a while ago since i switched to Tirz, but I believe I did loose a little bit more.
I wouldn't mind trying Sema again, as long as it's not oral, i tried that for a month or so and got crazy heartburn, even taking PPIs.
I feel the Tirz is helping at 15-20mg, but not enough to actually lower weight, just to maintain.
I actually had sema with tirz for a couple of weeks to i ran out, but i had an injury and was on tapentadol, which obviously messed up my gut movements, but i think i can combine them fine. You've got two options imo. You can either start adding .25mg Sema to your weekly Tirz protocol, and increase by .25mg every other week until you get sufficient suppression. This may not sound like much, but the synergistic effect of the two can be unexpectedly potent and you've got be cautious. Of course this is not a pharma protocol, but unlike other random GLP combinations, it's a sound approach and effective. It strengthens GLP-1 agonism and won't interfere with Tirz's mechanism of action.
Or, if you want a single injection. and an approved pharma protocol. switich over to 2.4 mg Sema, and titrate up every couple of weeks to a max of 7.4 mg.
"For individuals who did not achieve significant weight loss with the 2.4 mg dose, the 7.2 mg dose offers a more effective alternative. The increased dose led to a greater percentage of participants achieving substantial weight loss, indicating its potential to address the unmet needs of non-responders. "

It might make sense (from a financial perspective) to lower the tirz to 10 or 15mg, and start adding sema until it works, and once i run out of tirz, reassess whether it's worth combining or go with Sema alone.
I might need to find a good cheap source for sema, if I'm going to be upping the dose significantly though.
sounds like my life before glp1sSema rebound 2-4 weeks after stopping is a motherfucker!
3 gallon tub of ice cream in the Walmart parking lot at 1am if he's not careful kind of sugar cravings type of insanity lol.
I felt nothing on 2.5mg. On 5mg I started feeling fuller after meals smaller than usual and not as hungry/cravy in between meals, amd generally less food drive.Just shot my first tirz shot, 2.5mg at 3PM. It's now 8PM.
For those who felt already in the first shot, how long after the shot did you feel something? And what was it exactly?
Trying to be prepared for it if it comes.
You went from 2.5mg to 5mg in the second week?I felt nothing on 2.5mg. On 5mg I started feeling fuller after meals smaller than usual and not as hungry/cravy in between meals, amd generally less food drive.
On the 2nd and 3rd week I'd get some bouts of stomach pain and nausea every once in a while. No side effects from the 4th week on, even as I increased the dose (now 10mg) never got side effects
samesounds like my life before glp1s
You went from 2.5mg to 5mg in the second week?
What was your background, like weight, BF%, BMI, diet, etc?
Happy for you man, that you found a way to lose weight. Hope you get to where you want.yeah. I was always very much into lifting and dis cardio and was trying my best with diet but couldn't help but binge all the time because my hunger was insane.
I was probably 30% bodyfat, maybe higher.
Before that I had lost weight 3-4times naturally but gained it back every time because it was completely unsustainable. 30% bf was like the lowest I could maintain without crazy hunger.
I felt nothing on 2.5mg so I went to 5mg the second week. It worket great. only had some stomach pain and nausea on the 2nd and 3rd week then never any side effects again. I staued on 5mg for 4montha and then went to 10mg. Now I've been on 10mg for 3months I'd say. I'll probably up to 15mg or add Cagrilintide in a month or two.
if you want mainly a "food noise" reduction Reta or Cagrilintide might be more usefull. it will lower your food drive without making you unable to eat.Happy for you man, that you found a way to lose weight. Hope you get to where you want.
I have never really had a problem losing fat, wasn't hard to get to 7-8%, but independently of body fat, I always liked food, and only knew when to stop because I count my macros, if I were to rely on my brain to tell me when to stop, me too would be 30% BF lol
I noticed every time I got sick, and my appetite went away, my mind felt a lot freer. So I decided to hop on GLP-1s to try to emulate that feeling. I want to turn eating into the same as taking a shower. You take it because you know you need to, and sometimes it feels nice, and sometimes you prepare a bathtub if you want to enjoy it, but you don't really care about it most of the days lol

I am stuck with 300mg total of tirz now, too late lol. Also, cost/benefit is very good, and I rather prioritize safety over results in the position I am at in life right now, and tirz and sema are the only ones approved at this point in time.if you want mainly a "food noise" reduction Reta or Cagrilintide might be more usefull. it will lower your food drive without making you unable to eat.
How did you lose muscle, assuming you lifted and were on at least 200-250mg Test? But aside from losing fat I also lost muscle and strength the first time.
Tirz is better IME (I've run both RX Sema/Tirz, and UGL Sema/Tirz/Reta) but it's significantly more expensive.Should I stick with sema or move to tirz? Combine them?
Reta does fuckall for hungerif you want mainly a "food noise" reduction Reta or Cagrilintide might be more usefull. it will lower your food drive without making you unable to eat.
At that time all I did was take the sema. No lifting, no exercise, no diet restrictions. Lost 80 pounds in 6 months. How did you lose muscle, assuming you lifted and were on at least 200-250mg Test?
That was kind of what I was thinking, but as someone new there is sooooo much out there and on here about all these different combinations it is a bit overwhelming.Tirz is better IME (I've run both RX Sema/Tirz, and UGL Sema/Tirz/Reta) but it's significantly more expensive.
You can get 10x10mg Sema vials cheaper than 10x10-20mg Tirz vials, where 2.5mg Sema is roughly equivalent to 15mg Tirz.
Just for the economics of it being 300-500% cheaper I tend to prefer Sema and just use really high doses if needed.
Reta does fuckall for hunger
Run it from multiple sources, even 8-10mg doesn't feel like I'm taking anything to suppress hunger.
Sema/Tirz both work great for this, for me. Can't speak for Cagri, I think it's kind of a ripoff for the price.
I do see Cagri is NOT cheap! lolSema/Tirz both work great for this, for me. Can't speak for Cagri, I think it's kind of a ripoff for the price.
