Ashwaganda? anyone try this?

I started taking 600mg ashwaganda split a.m p.m about 5 days ago
i think it chilled me out a bit on tren
maybe its placebo but im feeling less angry
also started taking 15mg glycine, 2mg taurine before bed and 400mg L theanine split a.m p.m

anyone know anything about this or have experience?

Did you check your cortisol first? Mine wasn't as high as I thought it was and this shit crashed it hard. Felt like dogvomit for a couple of weeks.

did you test your cortisol?
Yep. Mine was 20mcg/dL, which I believed was on the higher end and possibly causing recovery issues. 2 days of one 500mg Sports Research gelcaps taken before bed had me feeling like garbage, slow brain, just wanted to sit. Couldn't get in for a blood draw until a couple of days later and it was still <3.0.
Just my experience. Could've been something unrelated but hasn't happened since. Cortisol currently at 11. Hope it does what you want it to.

shit im going to have to test it, but i heard you need multiple tests.
i feel pretty good right now

made me uncontrollably sleepy. I would fall asleep standing up randomly when It's usually just driving that puts me to sleep.

Ashwaganda is something you need to have always on your stack....it does wonders on the long run.

You should search for the ones that have a 5% withanolides content ... Amazon have plenty of offers.

I've seen dramatic changes in someone's ACTH blood panel after 3 months of using around 2 grams of extract/night..

This post made me go research Ashwagandha and now Amazon is delivering some this morning.

Helps with BG, cholesterol, sleep, stress, anxiety, stimulates the thyroid gland, boosts immunity, possesses hematopoietic properties (this one concerns me), and has anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties.

From what I’ve read, it needs to be cycled. I take it on occasion but never for a long stretch.

Funny thing to see you here, I've read your posts...

The person who had dramatic changes on the blood panel is my wife.... who's also struggling with the perimonapausal "syndrome" ... Before I started to suspect the "syndrome" she went to the psychiatrist because of all the symptoms she had: very poor sleep, constant fatigue, anxiety, etc.

That's were everything started to collapse ....they put her on antidepresant.... she's been on for the last 3 years almost.

Ashwaganda helped her a lot but now I'm contemplating with the endocrinologist way of handling this matter because antidepressants helped on a certain way but it messed her even more on many other aspects of life.

Just make sure she’s careful with the ashwagandha. Long term use, at even normal doses, has been linked to liver injury.

We still believe it had something to do with our last vacation where it all started abruptly...doctors have discarded all kinds of hepatitis so no diagnostic when they release her...they just stabilized her and sent her home.

There was a biohacker on youtube can't remember the name but ashwaghanda + glycine lowered his cortisol TOO much and it made him kinda zombified and too sleepy
