Now back to the question asked originally. If E2 is higher then one wants options tend to be

split up the dose more
add in an AI
I myself have used the later 2 and it has worked for me to lower E2.

I just increase my testosterone til the estrogen submits by tapping out.
I suggest the same to OP.

What if it doesn’t tap out and you grow jugs and start producing whole milk? I’ve never known E2 to drop lower by increasing testosterone more.

It might be from injecting during the full moon while not facing magnetic north. Use a witching pendulum to select what size syringe you need should take care of the issue. Inject down to lower estrogen, up to raise free test. Z tracking with an 18 gauge…. I’m joking don’t Z track an 18 gauge unless your trying to go to the ER.

I just increase my testosterone til the estrogen submits by tapping out.
I suggest the same to OP.

I would expect nothing less from you.

Z tracking is a thing i really haven't heard of in many years. Never saw a use for it myself and never needed to use it.

I’m pinning IM in the glutes. I’m using 25g syringe.

It does not care what needle you use, and where inject.

Switch to a 27 gauge 5/8 insulin syringe and inject delts.
Don’t split the injection, just do 100 mgs in a single shot.
Use a massager on the delt immediately after injection.
Not a lot of people know, but smoking cannabis increases shbg.
Start taking 1 mg arimidex per week.
Increasing your test dosage will just throw stuff off more.

The most stable blood serum. You get by inject VG microdosing daily.

I have my brother in law on this methode. He was very sensitive by changing blod serums.

We started Test U, boost at 4ml. Followed by 0.1ml daily. After about 3 month he showed good blood value and felt his best ever. Endo’s method was 4ml test U every 12 weeks.
His Endo now use 4ml U followed by 0,5ml weekly in his method for his Patients

This thread is so hard to follow. It's like flat earthers having an argue with vegans. Guys, maybe injecting straight to the eyeballs is the best way for maximum absorption.

Hey guys – looking to get some feedback on my most recent bloodwork. Been on TRT for almost 3 months now and trying to dial things in. What’s throwing me off is the disconnect between my total T, free T, and SHBG.


Here’s a quick comparison of my labs:

March 26th Labs (at trough – before next injection):


Total T: 238 ng/dl
Free: 44 pg/ml
SHBG: wasn’t pulled in this lab order but did have labs earlier in the year and showed my SHBG was 18
E2: 44 pg/ml


Urologist started 100mg test cyp 1 shot per week.

Pulled labs again on 6/11/25 at trough -

Total T: 383 ng/dl
Free: 96.1
SHBG: not pulled in this lab order
E2: 73 pg/ml

After those results I started pinning 50mg test cyp every 3.5 days.

Blood work results from 7/18/25 (pulled morning before my next injection) -

Total T: 453
Free: 129.8
SHBG: 17
E2: 72
Hematocrit: 48.3

I felt pretty good for the first few weeks but had spicy nipples. Now my dick is dead and my libido is down. Doctor recommended I take an AI but I’ve been hesitant because of the horror stories I’ve read about crashing estrogen. I asked to have anastrozole compounded so I could start at a low dose but doc wouldn’t do it.

I punched my bloodwork into ChatGPT and it said my numbers look great. That although my total test is on the lower end of normal, my free t is in an excellent place. It did recommended taking .25mg ai the day after each injection which I think I’m gonna try on Sunday. It’s saying lowering my estrogen will make me feel a whole lot better.

Any advice from anyone on here who have been in my position or understand trt at a high level please chime in. Should I bump up to 120-140mg a week or stay where I’m at and get estrogen under control?

Ok your e2 has to come down but be careful how much arimidex you take. Im thinking .5 mg now then after your next inj another .5 then after the next inj .5 more. Wait 3 days and before you inject again pull bloods. Im thinking e2 will be in 20s at that point.
Increase your test to 75 mg mon inj then 75 mg thurs inj.
Take .5 mg arimidex oral every 3rd injection but pull bloods again after 4 cycles of 3 injections to check e2 and test.
Adjust from there.

Btw i see some needle sizing comments....use a 1ml syringe with a 27 ga needle probably 5/8 to 1 inch in your delts for trt....draw with a 22ish gauge needle swap out needles to the 27 to inj.

Something… at least 1 mg right away and then .5 mg weekly. It’s going to take a bit for it to come down. Aromasin is semi suicidal so it would be a better choice in general.

How long is this sustainable for? What about switching to sub q every other day? I don’t want to run an ai forever. I’m also working on getting leaner.

Hopefully you won’t need to run it to long. It may go back in range after you get it to calm down.
