There were a small study with elderly people where they went over 100mg, i think about 135mg - the only sideeffect was that they were extra tired when they woke up.....

Maybe the dose is too low for each ingredient. 1mg of melatonin is nothing. I take 10mg capsules every night. And some people take much higher doses.

A new study came out that more than 1?mg is harmful for the sleep, so it's better to take less

Since i lowered my dose to 1mg, i have been sleeping better
