Would this gear still be good?

Bought from Qingdao March last year, but ended up coming off gear for a while so never got through it.

It had been sitting in a metal box in my bedroom the entire time, but looking at it now it seems to have yellowed as shown below.

Does that mean it's no good? Any way to know for sure besides injecting and finding out?

The lighting and back ground is totally different between those two pics. That means the white balance is different between the two photos. We can't tell shit from that.

That's why I told you it had yellowed rather than telling you to figure it out from the pictures. They're there just for reference.

So just take my word for it then if the pictures aren't good enough for you.

I have some from over a year ago ish as well, it’s yellowed more. I’m no scientist or brainiac. But it’s probably still fine. I’ve had no issues with my Test from them.
Just been sitting in my cabinet away from light.

QSC didn’t have the best tops. Especially on my stuff. As long as it’s not moldy or full of floaters you’re prob good 2 go lol

"Yellowed"

Was it as clear as pure water and then got as dark as your piss after two months on dbol? The pics matter.

It's oxidation. Cheap shit MCT oil. Pharma grade Migloyl lasts far longer without that happening.

Still, yellowing happens early on in oxidation. It's probably almost as safe as it was before (whatever that was).

To be sure it not extremely oxidized, squirt a little in your hand and smell it. If it's smells like anything, burnt, plastic, old cooking oil, metallic, or especially fish, toss it.

The problem with injecting oxidized oils regularly is raising chronic systemic inflammation. With your CRP elevated your blood vessels and joints are being damaged. So if you use it, make sure to throw in a high sensitivity CRP test in your next round of bloodwork (a marker for inflammation that should be monitored anyway when using gear.).

China has a long history of "recycling" sewer oil back into the food chain.

I have some 1.5 year old QSC gear that quickly turned yellow/light brown as well, but it's gear they (the chinese) don't make anymore, so don't really wanna toss it.

If I dillute it in sterile mct/BA and filter it, will this lower the risk?

This is why my "doomsday" stash is made up of 100% high quality domestic sourced gear made by long standing, reputable sources. I need it to last 5+ years, not start oxidizing after 1. I know those international deals were hard to pass up, but what's the point of stacking it deep for cheap if it all goes bad before you can use it?

Filtering is always wise imo, but doesn't do anything about oxidation byproducts.

Diluting helps. You're having to increase the volume to get the same dose, so you're still getting the same amount of oxidized byproducts, but lower concentrations of things that trigger the immune system (like peptide aggregates), tend to lower immune response vs higher concentration, so that will help.

Maybe more valuable since you want to hang on to that gear, diluting with new MCT introduces a fresh supply of antioxidants, slowing further degradation and delaying the point when it starts smelling like the alley behind a seafood store and becoming completely unusable from pip.

I suppose there isn't a way to intentionally crash the gear, then suck out most the rancid oil separated from the steroid raw? Then add to new MCT/BB, heat up, sterilize, etc.

That sounds like a ton of work. I mean I guess it would be cool to pull it off, maybe just buy some fresh gear and call it a day. I'm basically a retard when it comes to most of this but here's an oldie but a goodie. " When in doubt throw it out"

That's pretty clever. It might work if you tossed it in the freezer. It'll completely crash, then the oil will freeze. Pull it out to thaw, and since the oil will thaw leaving the raws crashed, you should be able to strain off the oil leaving the solidified gear behind.

At least in theory. Test Cyp would almost certainly work, don't know about others.

You could put a vial in the fridge overnight. If it's crashed in the morning, it should completely crash out of solution at freezer temps.

Obviously you're not wrong. I'm just going with it because if he's going to do it, it's unlikely we'd talk him out of it. He knows buying new stuff would be easier and safer.

But it would be pretty cool. Also I've had some gear that's sat for a year and still looks fine, now that I'm seeing this I'm second guessing a couple of cheaper overseas vendors I was considering. Not talking any shit just rethinking some ideas.

primo/deca/basically everything but test is no longer being produced in china
meaning you probably won't be able to buy it easily

no one here is going to throw out their primo because it turned yellow

I had a similar situation with 2 years old QSC test last year. The color of the oil clearly changed. I got instructions from QSC to toss it. I did a smell test first by putting some oil on a small plate and it deffo snelled weird, not neutral but rancid. I ended up tossing those vials. If the oil changed color and it smells weird, I would be careful. You can always inject some and see. I bet the methenolone has barely degraded, prolly just the oil. Your call.
