hijacking this conversation, would you happen to know if it’s okay to store pre drawn syringes with hgh? i got a new job and waking up at 5 am is a struggle, trying to get a good draw without bubbles always almost makes me late. i searched and this was the only information i could find on storing in plastic syringes.
The stability of somatropin stored in two types of plastic syringes was studied. Reconstituted somatropin at high (3.33-mg/mL) and low (1.0-mg/mL) concentrations was stored in polypropylene and propylene-ethylene copolymer syringes at 2-8 degrees C for 28 days. The contents of all syringes were...

The guidelines for predrawing any med will say no. That's best practice.
The reality is it's done by nurses on behalf of home bound patients all the time, including with insulin which is similar to rHGH stability wise.
The "harm reduction" approach is this, imo.
Limit it to a week's worth at a time.
The long term interaction with the barrel and stopper is the main concern.
By sticking with HIGH quality syringes only, I'd only trust BD or Nipro, you know for sure the rHGH w/.9% Benzyl alcohol is only coming into contact with inert surfaces (silicone coated butyl rubber stopper and medical grade polypropylene barrel) that can definately handle 7 days without leaching chemicals into the liquid. A cheap syringe may not be guaranteed to be the same, and if the
BA is in contact with raw butyl rubber in the stopper for days, chemicals will definately leach from the butyl rubber that are toxic and can damage the rHGH.
This isn't ideal, but it should be fine. One "best practice" though. Silicone droplets (and shock) cause rHGH to aggregate, losing effectiveness. Treat the filled syringes gently, to minimize the chance of knocking some loose into the solution. This would require a sharp shock, like dropping, or tapping sharply with a fingernail to remove bubbles. Just tap with the soft part of your finger if necessary.
