Well boys… might be the end of gear for me.

So I don’t remember a lot. Bare with me.
Brain fog for days and woozy.

No real answers yet.
Not gonna lie it’s annoying how this office does things. Stupid policies. Got into an argument with them over it. They initially denied me my appointments.
-
Anyways. Got the biopsy. Results in two weeks.

As well as a growth hormone and cortisol stimulation test 5/7/25… to check my adrenal glands. Test is like 4 hours long… wtf.

Not all my labs came in because I got them done on Monday.
Maybe those will have answers. And the other tests too.
-
Doctor prescribed me Adex due to higher estrogen (I feel great e2/Test wise) but I got a adex prescription now lol.
Won’t take it unless I need to.

Basically. No true answers.

But I might have reactive hypoglycemia. Whether that’s a larger issue or not we don’t know yet.
Even at 6’3 220 relatively lean with no gym and no true diet because of my problems. I now have to deal with that shit.

Random meals & Higher carb meals are making my glucose drop to 54-55 mg/dl sometimes. after 3-4 hours I’ll peak 150-170.
And other random glucose crashes thru the day.

Fun times.

Glp-1’s and metformin both can help

@Avies48
Appreciate the replies.

They’re doing a full adrenal gland test, to see if something is wrong there. It’s like 4-5 hours long and a vial of blood every 15 mins. Can’t remember the test name. But they give me glucagon or something and then take the blood To check function.
Growth hormone/cortisol too.

*Edit* I guess it’s just a growth hormone stimulation test? Not sure. Maybe miss heard my Dr. or something. Not sure if that can see how the adrenal gland(s) or whatever are working

-As far as adex/aromasin
I have aromasin thru a good source which I prefer. So I’ll just keep my adex as a back up

-GLP1s… I havent looked into those much yet.
I know Sema/ozemptic can possibly cause thyroid tumor issues or worsen them. I believe. which I have nodes/tumors on my thyroid. Biopsy results in two weeks. As well as the rest of my labs.

-So far I completely changed my diet and carb sources to combat that glucose issue
More fats with complex carbs and lower glycemic foods.
Seems to be helping some what.

It’s been an absolute cluster.

Took some aromasin last night 6mg roughly, going to do that weekly. And check my E2 again.
Some of the symptoms definitely aren’t as prevalent. So higher e2 seems to worsen them. Which is interesting. My e2 wasn’t elevated much.

Also at the point . if all these tests don’t point something out. I’m going to ask to get a full scan to see if I have tumors or masses anywhere else in my body.

Prenuvo has a scan but its pretty costly like $2500 and they look at all organs and such… just no cleerly exam which scans for soft plaque…

Welp there’s rent and more lmao

I’ll try to get my doctor to refer me to someplace for that. She initially said I might have pituitary issues. So I might have some scan coming next anyways

All just waiting on the thyroid biopsy results

Day one back in the gym
Fuck it. If I feel like shit so be it.

It’s been almost 48 hours since I’ve gotten a decent handle on my potential reactive hypoglycemia.

Seems more fats in my meals and smaller carb amount has helped, basically like 60/20/20 ratio protein fat carb.
A lot of beans more veggies.

Also Added more fiber.
This diet will do me more good regardless if I have reactive hypo. So I’m sticking with it.
Upping the cardio / steps I take too.

Also added chromium, cinnamon, magnesium to my supp line up.

My CGM expired so I’m doing the finger pricks to keep track.
111mg/dl pre gym right now.
Going to check an hour in.
And before I take 20g intra carbs.

Hopefully get answers for my major issues soon. Choosing to ignore them as much as possible lol even tho my legs and arms feel like noodles and I get vertigo like feelings

Your TIBC is through the roof, meaning your body is craving any iron it can get. There's zero chance you went from a Ferritin of 36, gave blood, and are in the 60s a week or two later. Your hematologist should understand this, but the other doctors are worthless for iron IME.

Ferritin is a good judge of iron stores, unless you've recently had inflammation, or an illness. In those cases, Ferritin can elevate while not being from high iron.

Your circulating iron is high. This may mean your body is having trouble actually using the iron you're injesting. Even if your Ferritin was 60s, that's not actually high. Typically a donation will knock you down 40-50 ferritin. You want to be north of 50 before any donation.

Look up the symptoms of copper deficiency. You have ALL of them. Copper is necessary to using iron, whether building RBC, or ferritin. When donating, and building RBC, your body can burn through its copper.

If I were you, I'd start with supplementing copper, keep your iron, and vit c high until TIBC comes down to normal. Good luck, and I hope you can get some answers soon. It sounds like a miserable journey. I appreciate you keeping it up to date. Whether we're helping much or not, someone could be going through a similar situation.

My doctor is also an idiot when it comes to understanding iron. Ive learned that "looks good" often just means they have no fucking clue. If you're comfortable sharing your more detailed panel, im sure there are some other people knowledgeable in other areas that may help.

I’d share my most recent labs but the way they have them set up I have to go on a different page each time in the portal.
Would be like 50 pics to upload.

I’ll look into the copper thing. Thanks! My doctor started off strong and it’s been 2 visits of hey you never out my prescription in … still over a month later nothing. I’m taking a tested UGL AI for now.

Seems like my estrogen was making symptoms way worse too. Came back in the 60’s but serum was also highly elevated.
Next step is an actual hematologist

Vacation was 5 days. In Cali

No idea what’s going on. Weirdest thing. Basically starting at ground zero

So I’m getting my apartment tested for air contamination/Mold.
Meanwhile getting tests done myself
Hopefully get some pharm blood pressure meds
I had some symptoms like this once and I found mold in the house I was renting, I busted out my nice microscope and took some slides.
Some nasty ass black mold... they ended up selling the house and we moved out shortly after. All those symptoms went away.. mold is a bitch. Hope you figure it out bro

Yeah it’s been a while shit show for a while now. As of now it’s not as bad. I have my moments of hmm my arms / legs feel weird
