Hey everyone. I've been considering dipping my toes into AAS for a little bit and just want to learn more about them to make sure I'm not being too impulsive. I had bloodwork done once when I was considering TRT last year but didn't move forward with it. Essentially here to help talk myself out of it, or be as educated as I can be before taking the leap. Particularly interested in learning more about PCT experiences and people who have come off as opposed to being on TRT forever.

27, 6'4, only been lifting about a year. Morbidly obese most of my life, in 2017 went from 340lbs to 180 purely through diet with no lifting. Got back up to around 250 in covid and dropped to 205(current weight) over the last year while actually lifting and tracking macros. Wondering if I missed my newbie gains window due to age/first year diet being a steep deficit which has got me wanting to at least learn more about this.

IMO, before touching any AAS, get lean first. Keep training, get your diet dialed in, and use a GLP-1 agonist if you want to for its strong benefits on weight loss (insulin sensitivity, higher metabolism, appetite suppression, etc.).

I've been considering looking into some of the GLPs. Hunger isn't thaaaat unmanageable and I probably only need to drop like another 10-20lbs. Tougher part is maintaining training volume, I feel wiped out after only a few sets at 1600 calories a day
