I thought this was interesting and potentially useful information to share

What makes this interesting is because they suggest (1) 200mg dosage of doxy within 3 days of condomless sex significantly reduced the possibility of an STI

Doxycycline is used to treat STIs, but at the dosage of 100mg E12HR for 7 days. This is the suggested dosage for someone already diagnosed with a STI (not within 3 days of unprotected sex)

That’s strange. I’ve never heard of doxy being used for chalmydia and I used to get that every other month or so.
I have been given doxy for acne though.

there are always alternative treatments for any type of bacteria.

I have been following this for a while.

But this is for prophylaxis. kill the bacteria while its still weak.

I used to have access to free zithro, so I would literally just do 1200mg even other month just in case. Only downside is a little upset stomach upon taking.
