In the 2000’s my favorite was Eric Broser’s Power/ Rep range/ Shock but in Kris Gethin’s DTP (not the 50/40/30/20/10 scheme but the 25/20/15/10/5 scheme) had me looking my best. Muscles felt fuller and rounder.

Also enjoyed 5x5, as well as Positions of Flexion from IronMan Magazine example for biceps:

Exercise 1: midrange movement : Barbell Curls
Exercise 2: Stretch movement: Incline Curls
Exercise 3: Contraction: Concentration curls, cable curls, spider curls

3 sets of 8 one week. 4 sets of 15 one week. 5 sets of 12. Mix it up

I like to work on herd dynamics and high reps, like 20 reps or a 10x10 scheme.

Nowadays just the one that makes me hold on to what I currently have and doesn't take away much of my time, mostly compound exercises 3x week. There is a lot more to life, than slaving the gym. Not saying I haven't done that in the past, I just don't do it anymore.

I train mainly for strength and conditioning, so I like 531, and if I want to program hop I can pretty.much keep the main work in place and do whatever I want, my own thi g or the vast amount of templates available

I cAn do a more strength oriented approach or switch to bodybuilding style accessory

Outside of that I really like DC training worked well for me

I like classic Weider: Chest, Back, Legs, Shoulders, Arms. It works well and it gives room to introduce accessories.

I like program 531, I used it when I got tired of purely strength training.

I've never actually run a programme before, I've just always tried to bump my numbers up by a kilo each time I lift in maxes and then a triple after. When this becomes stagnant I'll add in a bit of speed work or rep sets and then next time it tends to bump things up again. I do want to try a proper powerlifting programme though - problem is I never know which works well and which doesn't. The latest John Haack app seems to be a good option though and there are many levels to try and variations etc.

Tell me a better feeling in life than the one you get after having an awesome workout or hitting a new PR?

Having sex with hot girl, looking damn good, being quite strong and lean at the same time, getting leaner than ever before, just to name a few but there are lots of great things in life. To each their own I guess.

It's time to get very lean, what could be better time than now.
