Russia begins invasion of Ukraine

No one knows how this conflict will end.
It will end with the Russian federation in control of most of eastern Ukraine and possibly the entire black sea coast, but Russia will pay a heavy price militarily and forever politically. In the end the people of Russia will be economically devastated.

It seems to me that not only Russia will be in decline, but the whole world. As a result, all countries suffer from sanctions. We, Europe, prices are skyrocketing.

Now there is a very interesting picture of the world. How the whole world is pressing Russia with sanctions, but so far this has more impact on the countries themselves than on Russia. And here comes the confrontation political and economic.
It's just that such measures do not always work with Russia because they are accustomed to living in difficulties. Unlike us, we are used to a different life.

It's also interesting to see that many other countries don't have the same sentiment.

Basically the countries choosing to follow the "Russia bad" narrative are here.

And the rest....
No so much

I think this is already narrow-mindedness and propaganda, which is stuffed. And everyone started to believe in it and don't even want to really understand how the situation really is.

Yes, there are countries that are soberly their own interests, and not the interests of someone else. He does not support them, this is not profitable and they take care of their economy.

Oh, just the entire First World.

you guys need to realize russia and communists are our enemy.
At this point Russia is not communist. It is a criminal organization. In a country of 150 million I read that 130 people held 35% of the total wealth of the nation.

You might have a point Paul, about the Russian government being a corrupt criminal ogliarchy.

But, then again, by that same standard, our own government is a criminal, corrupt corporate ogliarchy.

In America
"The wealthiest 10% of Americans, for example, own about 89% of stocks and mutual funds held in the U.S. as of the first quarter of 2021, according to Fed data. The bottom 50% of U.S. households hold around 0.5%."

In other words the wealthiest 10% of Americans control nearly 90% of the wealth in America.

Considering there's more than twice as many people in America and more than six times the wealth as Russia, I guess we're really not much different are we?

Are we a criminal enterprise too?

You have no argument from me. Our system of government is designed to empower a small minority, the wealthy.
They buy influence for literally pennies in both parties.

I'm not opposed to making money. I have done well for myself. Well enough to retire comfortably in my 50's. If one works hard there should be a reward, but money is power, and power is in the hands of a few.

Why a criminal organization? I'm wondering why this interpretation?
Putin and those who he has chosen to enrich after the fall of the USSR have concentrated wealth of the nation' in the hands of a relatively small group of of people whose main focus in life is to maintain power by any method necessary.

They understand the loss of power is an existential threat, so they control every aspect of day to day life. Is it different for any criminal cartel or crime family?

most people in the US are very ungrateful, most of the guys i graduated with have way nicer homes than their folks had, nicer cars, and more toys boats. motorcycles, ect.
in fact the only guys i know that arent better off than their folks were either lazy, drunks, or drug users,
if people cant get ahead in this country it because their to busy crying about how bad they have it..

But is it different for us, look at our president - a doll. Who controls them like a puppet. In fact, everything is about the same thing - shadow cardinals.
