If that were true, we could save around 40 million lives each year from dying of the flu.
A lot of this is just common sense.
I'll keep posting stuff over and over if it's necessary, here if fauci saying masks don't work.

For me wearing a mask is no big deal. When I was working in the lab I had to put a new one on every time I entered a patient room for years.
Today I was ripping out a bathroom and naturally I use a N95 or N100 depending on what I do. I have lots of respirators and full face for protecting my lungs when I'm working, so I see the value in masks. If you fuck up your lungs you're done, you can't breath you're dead. It's that simple.
I understand if someone else doesn't want to wear the mask, that's their choice to certain extent unless it's private property and then it's the owners choice.
That said the vaccine being put in a person is entirely the persons choice and those that chose not be vaccinated shouldn't be treated any differently than those that are vaxxed.
I think we're confusing masks and real masks.
The vast majority of people wearing masks are provided absolutely no protection at all because their masks suck.
When I was working in the hospital we were fitted for respirators and had to put our head in a sealed tent with flavored mist sprayed to make sure we couldn't detect any of it.
The masks 99% of people are wearing are completely worthless and of course they offer zero protection.
That said I have some really nice masks that I had made that were made to fit my face like a glove and they do the job really nice, nothing gets through them, I had them made because I wear glasses and I don't like them fogging.

What's really going to bake everyone's noodle is when the info gathered comes out that this wasn't really a pandemic and not nearly as many people died from it as is portrayed. And, many that did die in the hospitals were due to the hospital treatments and protocols.

Is this a common or a known practice in the pharmaceutical industry to want safety data for one of their drugs locked down?
Hiding the truth about your medication or healthcare practice?
1. Money is involved. You need no other reason, people like to get paid, it's comfortable, it buys nice things. In the case of Pfizer CEO he was an overnight billionaire.
2. A skilled scientist isn't just skilled because they come up with novel ways to address a problem. A skilled scientist is really a master of statistics and quality control. Most people don't know that the job of a scientist is really just number crunching, stats, stats and more stats. The ability to make problems go away......that's the work of a health based scientist.
3. Mastering Statistical quality control means you know how to twist the numbers, toss the outliers, be very selective of the data you want to include, carefully set up the way you collect data, tighten the data, tweak your numbers to bring them into range based on what is acceptable. In other words clean up the mess and hide the truth. You want a nice clean data set. You don't want a bunch of fucked up questionable data in your research or someone is gonna ask questions and shut you down real quick. This scientist that is in charge will be given numerous pay raises, he will be the golden boy that everyone looks up to because he's the guy that keeps those checks rolling in.
4. Once you're too big to fail, you have no choice but to keep the ponzi scheme going. You the lead scientist in charge have cold sweats at night, your mind is constantly working trying to cover up your coverups so you don't make a mistake that will show you've been cooking the books for years. Once you've had too much and the empire is starting to collapse you gotta gtfo of there and find some other place to go before it all implodes. You then hand it off to a fresh faced naive rookie that quickly realizes he's been handed a pile of shit and he can't figure out why everything isn't working according to the data he's been given.

Now take a vaccine that causes the immune system to ramp up and go bonkers. You're looking at hundreds of thousands of deaths in that case and claiming anything other is lying.
