What kind of oats are you eating? Whole oats? Quick cooking? Steel ground?

How much oats are you eating? 1/2 cup? 1 cup? 2 cups? A whole bag?? (lol)

How are you cooking them?

What else are you putting in them? Raisins? Blueberries? Milk? Are you lactose intolerant? Are the oats a side dish and you are eating eggs and other stuff along with them?

Are you eating them too fast?

What kind of oats do you buy? Can you try switching to organic? Bob's Red Mill Organic Oats are the best per testing by ConsumerLab.
 
Very little data, as you wrote above. Oatmeal can be very different both in the form of release, since you cook it, what you add, perhaps in addition to oatmeal there are some other factors that you did not mention.
 
I myself sometimes eat oatmeal plain out of the box sprinkled on ice cream or cheerios...and the texture it adds to shakes!

Mixed into yogurt is even better.
 
Fiber!

Do you eat your oats cooked or raw? Raw gives me more of what you described.

Also try chewing it a bit more.
It seems to me that organic oatmeal is where the most fiber is, since it is like from a vegetable garden, it is both healthy and most delicious. True, it takes longer to cook it, but it's worth it.

Why can I clear out a fucking room after a small bowl of delicious oatmeal?

One bowl and my asshole is trumpeting for hours. It's horrible....
What Kind of oatmeal do you buy? Is this a specific brand? Is it a little single serving packet that is flavored like apple cinnamon or something? Or are they real, organic, plain oats??
