Trt help!!!

I’ve been monitoring levels since may of last year, it took almost 8 months to get my doctor to put me on trt. My test levels ranged from 178-250ng through that time.
I went on 50 mg Xyosted a week, starting test was 212, after a month my test is 218.
My gains and strength are weird as shit considering my test and free test levels.
I couldn’t get Xyosted at my pharmacy so the doc switched me to 100 mg of depo test eow.
Some of my low test symptoms made very small improvements but now are bout where they started.
They haven’t checked my estrogen levels at all, I’ve asked for them to now.
But why would the Xyosted not increase my test at all really after 4 weeks of injections. I had my labs done the 5th week right after my next dose was due.

Maybe the dose was too low with the Xyosted. Maybe something to do with the sub q injections.

As for the the test depo, the reason you still feel like shit is likely because of at least 2 things. The first being, dosing the test DEPO once every two weeks sucks. You are better off going with weekly or bi-weekly injections. Second thing is 50mg a week is a very low dose for trt and most guys usually need more than that.

Blood work should tell your doctor if you need more but the bi-monthly pinning schedule tells me that your doctor isn't very well versed in hrt. Some countries still push this protocol but it is far from ideal.

Everybody is different, but for me personally, I take 150mg of test c per week, split into 2 shots every 3.5 days. My levels while tested 3 days post injection are between 550-650.

I’ve been trying to get the doc to do that. It took me 8 months, 4 sets of labs and a mri to get him to even start trt. It’s some bullshit.
I lost 25lbs prior to starting and have dropped my bf 9 percent roughly since august.
But levels haven’t changed, I felt better on Xyosted that the depo.
But I totally agree 100mg eow isn’t nearly enough.
I’m trying to get him to let me do 50-75 twice a week.
He’s scared of hpta shutdown at 28 years old
I told him I didn’t give a shit anymore the symptoms are worse than the long term risk.
My strength and mass gains are what’s weird. I set prs on every lift, even from when I was 24 w good test levels and did so in 12 weeks after years of not lifting. With bottomed out test levels.
Now I’m on trt and my mass is improving but strength really isn’t.
Body fat not going down anymore either. Plateau on that hard.
I am very overweight, so I’m concerned w estrogen levels, and conversion issues. Just not sure why it melted off and now won’t budge.

Hormone therapy is years behind the times it seems. That's one of the problems. What kind of doctor are you seeing? Because it seems like he is clueless.

I personally feel the best when my test levels are 1000 to 1200, and I can usually stay at that level with about 250mg of test cyp weekly. I don't need an AI (if I'm only cruising on test).

It was more beneficial for me to buy my own lab tests and monitor them myself using test from a good source that posts tests according to the batch number. Cheaper too.

If you can maintain good values on your blood work, you can determine the test dosage that you feel the best at. Many doctors are just not fully on board yet. I don't deal with them anymore because frankly I was tired of coming out of an appointment knowing that I just educated the doctor that was supposed to be giving me medical advice.

Where are you getting your own lab test?
I’ve thought about sourcing my own and going from there but I’m pretty paranoid and don’t trust the sources I’ve found lol
My doc is an endo doc.
My family doctor wanted to put me on trt but didn’t know enough about it so he sent me to a specialist.
Who is spoon feeding me shit because he’s scared of hpta shutdown being permenant at my age.
I told him I have kids and don’t need anymore. Get my levels up, Ed sucks, shit still works but it’s 70 percent on a good day

More frequent injections lead to more stable levels and lower e2, generally. If he doesn't plan to keep you on trt permanently, then maybe trying clomid for a couple months could boost up your natural test levels. Otherwise, being on trt and being shutdown go hand in hand. But it doesn't matter because you're replacing your low test with exogenous test because you system isn't working right anyway.

And even if you're shutdown temporarily and he then planned to take you off test if your numbers were better, (which they haven't been yet) you could still do a power pct protocol and have a good enough chance at bouncing back.

I don't get where he's not going in with both feet on you being on trt. I never heard of a doctor worried about shutdown when putting a person on hrt.

When I was on the pellets, before I started using tc, my level was great for a month or two and then I felt like shit for the next 5 after but yet my test levels were still too high to have my insurance cover my medicine.

I started my own trt protocol and then came clean to my family doctor that I was using ug gear. He agreed to monitor my blood work and as we talked more, he also agreed to prescribe my test c because it would be safer health wise than using ugl shit.

This Endo of yours may be trying to play it safe but he strikes me as a moron giving you only 100mg every other week. If you levels have remained low, the obvious next step is to up your dose and check bloods to see where that puts you.

Good luck, bud.

And check out this thread to get an idea how to deal with your blood work.

Do an online trt clinic like viking alternative. You will pay more but every 10 weeks isn't too bad. They start you at 200 a week with an ai and hcg if wanted. They only lower the dose if you ask. Lol

Thanks @MadBret
I agree with everything your saying, he commented he thought I had abused aas before and stuck it in my notes. I’ve never used them. Repeatedly told him that. More out of not having then not wanting to blast lol but the only aas I’ve used have been the prescribed trt.
I’ve considered going ugl for awhile, do a blast and see my family doctor to see what he will do.

Some family docs can be really cool, smart and receptive. Some endos seem to have their heads up their asses.

Good luck, my friend.

Are there any other options for Doctors where you are at? Check with some of the guys at the gym or if you know any Firemen or LEOs that are older they usually know where there is a doctor that will get your test up to at least the level of a 20 year old. Once i started seeing my Dr. i was asking some questions with some people that I know and they already knew about him.

There are plenty of guys on gear at the gym but I’m not from the area so I don’t know anyone of them enough to breach the question. The only one I know and trust on gear got his stuff from naps, and definitely didn’t get the results he should have in my opinion. I thought about trying domestic-supply and doing my own dosing I’m not ready for a cycle yet. But literally every source I’ve seen has more negative reviews than good ones

Fuck naps and domestic supply. There are a couple of good domestic options that are generally on the first page in the underground. One of them sometimes has a bit of a slow ta but treats people right and has good gear. The other seems to be on point as well, with fast shipping. They both have lots of testing. Do a little reading and you'll know who I'm referring to.

Don't ask them where to get gear just ask if they know anything about TRT Dr. in the area because yours sucks. Doctors are legal and they may be willing to point you in the right direction.
