At what moment did some of you bigger guys say to yourself "dang I am getting big"

I'm a religious guy and I might joke around with cockiness but in reality I am about as humble as humanly possible. I was lifting this morning and out of 40 or so people at the gym I am pretty sure I was the strongest looking guy there. I'm no beast like some of you are and am just curious the first time you told yourself "dang I am getting to be a big boy".

Were you at Planet Fitness?

I can't answer because I have never had that feeling. Even last year when I won a competition as a heavyweight and this year when I went over 250 for the first time, I feel small and fat.

Everytime I think I have developed my body to be a little bit impressive, I meet or see somebody 10x better and realize I look like shit.

I was actually looking for an answer like that. That's drive to always improve. Seriously nice response

Yeah I wish I knew an absolute monster to work out with. I do pretty good motivating myself but I am sure trying to keep up with a beast would help get me to the next level quicker

I am the biggest and the strongest in gym...... oh wait.... my gym is at home, and workout alone.

All joking aside, I am pretty humble amd honest about how I look, and have never been the biggest baddest in any gym I have worked out in. I wouldnt want to be as I like having a goal post to chase. However there are days when I see myself next to others and pretty damn happy with where I am at and knowing its working and keep moving forward

I’ve started having normal people tell me I look “jacked” but I take that with a grain of salt for a few reasons: They don’t workout. I’m fat. I’ve met monsters that make me feel insignificant.
Always too much fat, never enough mass.

Kinda hard on yourself there buddy but if that's what it takes to reach your body's potential then so be it. You sound a little pissed about it and if you are like me the angrier I become the harder I work.

I’ve yet to find anyone anywhere near big thats experienced this. For 99% of us, it’s perpetual body dysmorphia. I take check-in photos and such regularly for my coach and never believe I look like the photos say. My goal is a bit different than the average AAS user, but getting legit huge doesn’t happen quick so I doubt this is too common.

Guys who use AAS and enjoy rec/men’s league sports; probably pretty common tho. I noticed my performance on the field plummeted after a certain point, and it was WAY before being “huge.”

I had that feeling a few months ago.. I needed to get scrubber with a 16in handle for showering.. wiping my ass is harder then I care for , getting in cars has gotten harder and finding shirts and pants that fit is really hard.. and the crazy part is I know I ha e alot more to go.. I'm still very undeveloped.. not a freak but I'm growing alot more then I thought I would. Also nobody told me how difficult everyday life things would be this difficult with size..
