Aww schucks are you flirting with me?You must be pissed off every time you look in the mirror then huh? Remember to love yourself bro, life is short.
MaybeAww schucks are you flirting with me?
Maybe not....Aww schucks are you flirting with me?
I just get aggravated with dumbasses. There’s a difference in championing something and explaining what it is and isn’t.
I never claimed or even hinted at being a staunch socialist. Strict socialism is as bad as strict capitalism.
You’re an idiot. I voted for Jo Jorgensen.
I’m lucky enough to have a ton of free time on my hands. I’m lucky that I can afford to.
I was given an opportunity and took advantage of it.
You have to work your ass off to make ends meet and that sucks for you that you can’t fathom being able to enjoy life and not have to work your days away in order to live. Like I said I work around 15 maybe 20hours including drive time when I have to be on site to check on things. I travel every once in a while if there’s a big storm somewhere. I was in Long Island last year for a month.
I literally don’t do anything other than work besides play video games and go to the gym. If I’m on site it’s maybe an hour each one.
You don’t know what you think you know.
Which countries tried it and rejected it?Again, name countries where socialism has been successful. I can name countries that tried it and that thankfully rejected it after they saw what a complete failure it created.
According to dictionary.com here are the three accepted definitions of the term socialism:
socialism

noun
1. a theory or system of social organization that advocates the ownership and control of the means of production and distribution, capital, land, etc., by the community as a whole, usually through a centralized government.
2. procedure or practice in accordance with this theory.
3. (in Marxist theory) the stage following capitalism in the transition of a society to communism, characterized by the imperfect implementation of collectivist principles.
You'll see that it's a "theory" which when actually practiced never works.
Look up the word capitalism and you'll see it clearly defined as a system; not a "theory."
If it were so great as you claim it to be then why don't all first tier countries throughout the world adopt this "theory" and put it into practice?
Israel, India and the UK after World War 2Which countries tried it and rejected it?
The government took control of all privately owned businesses in those countries?Israel, India and the UK after World War 2
The government took control of all privately owned businesses in those countries?
The Soviets have practiced rather extreme socialism and that really didn't work, and the USA so far is still capitalistic with some socialism...for now at least.![]()
Three Nations That Tried Socialism and Rejected It
Socialists are fond of saying that socialism has never failed because it has never been tried. But in truth, socialism has failed in every country in which it has been tried, from the Soviet Union beginning a century ago to three modern countries that tried but ultimately rejected...www.heritage.org
Go figure that a libertarian group funded by corporate donations that lobbies for public policy on behalf of large corporations would be against socialist policies…![]()

So those countries were never socialist, they had turned that direction but reversed course![]()

Uruguay may have a socialist party but they are not socialist. Not sure if you're implying that Uruguay is a socialist success but I wouldn't consider a country with a miniscule population of 3.5M to be an example of how well socialism can endure. I've lived in cities where the population of the town alone was close to that number. It's barely a third of the population of NYC.China hasn't been brought up yet, they're as government controlled as you get? Uruguay has considered itself socialist for a long time now
Go figure that a libertarian group funded by corporate donations that lobbies for public policy on behalf of large corporations would be against socialist policies…
You've established a fallacious pattern of trying to dismantle people's viewpoints that don't align with your own simply for not being a socialism funded source. Well, what pro-socialist organization is actually going to admit to socialism failing? How foolish can you be?
And what's wrong with being libertarian? Is that evil in your eyes, too?
Dude, the more you bicker the more you reveal what a staunch socialist you are.
And Uruguay doesn't count because it has a booming export economy? I guess China doesn't count either since it makes so much money on exports
My point was, since you don’t seem to get subtlety, that articles written by groups with a vested interest in a particular conclusion are highly suspect and need to be taken with a shaker of salt.
Interesting thing about foxcon is that for the amount of people they employ the actual suicide rates aren’t all that significant.Dude, for being such a tiny country in comparison Uruguay has a GDP 1.5 times higher than China's. The only reason China's export business is comparable is due to the fact the world outsources their products to be made there due to cheap labor. They're a shithole and they make crap that doesn't last.
Nice try. Speaking of China, does anyone remember the chain of suicides that made headlines due to workers assembling your gadgets like smartphones, etc were being worked to death in what are basically concentration camp like settings?
Life and death in Apple’s forbidden city
^ Hate to break it to you but you won't be able to dismiss that source since it's not a right-wing conservative funded site. Just letting you know beforehand.
