We need to do something about these crypto stealth fees dealers are charging here.

How can this keep going on that dealers are letting the customers incur the fees to purchase and send bitcoins to purchase goods.

It can literally add up to 20% of the total cost in which the dealer benefits.

This never happened with normal bank transfers.

Its a stealth cost that obscures what you actually see on the websites.

@Millard we need to crack down on this and let dealers pay for the crypto fees not the consumers.

Up to 20%? I only ever pay a few bucks at most for my btc needs...a few bucks in the context of a few hundred dollars is nothing. Cost of doing business.

I understand your frustration, but all that would do is cause vendors to increase the cost of goods to pass the cost back to us. So there's really no point. IDK why you are paying a 20% premium though, I think you need to look at the websites you're using and consider if it is cheaper to go somewhere else. I think at most I have paid like $10 on a $650 order

My source gives a discount for BTC use that more than covers the fee compared to bank transfer.

I never pay more than a couple dollars in fees because I set a relatively low fee amount based on the current state of the mempool. I don't need the transaction to go through immediately as my source gives 24 hours.

So than don’t use Bitcoin? Use xlm, xrp, Monero? All of which offer lower fees, and are becoming more accepted.

Vendors should accept bank transfer which costs the consumer zero and then they if they want to purchase bitcoin and pay fees for the exchange.

It makes no sense and this forum has just accepted a stealth tax like a bunch of sheeps.

I use kraken exchange and they charge me a fortune to buy bitcoins and and send off.

Its bullshit.

It still doesn't change the fact that the vendors will just increase cost of goods. No need for trying to label someone as a sheep when you have no idea who they are or what they stand for.

Also, this is all a choice, no one is forcing you to buy with said vendor or buy gear at all... it isn't a mask :p

1. Buy LTC from Exchange (lower fees than btc)
2. Send to your own wallet (use a new one each time)
3. Convert to Monero on something like fixedfloat and you should be good

I recently bought $1000 worth of bitcoin on cash app. The fees were $17 and some change. Really not too bad imo. Less than 2% to purchase...

So you want all the drug dealers to linkup a bank account that probably links to them in some way, so that you can buy drugs easier? Sounds a little selfish bud.

It’s the sending them that usually has the bigger fees for me, so I choose not to send Bitcoin back and forth but swap to other crypto currency first.

Vendors as in illegal steroid dealers?

You think they should accept more easily traceable bank transfers and not require bitcoin?

Have you considered using a different app to purchase btc? Mine costs less than 2%.. even in large orders I've never paid more than $50 in total fees

Sounds like you’re transferring coin at peak hours and getting fucked on fees. That’s a you problem.

Then of course there’s the complaining that sources sending you illegal drugs want to use secure nearly anonymous currencies that require a bit of tax to utilize.

But uh, yeah. Try a source that uses western union I guess?
