Competing in my first show in June

I appreciate your honesty bro. That's why I am here. Nothing you said makes me upset or hurts my feelings cause I need shit like this to help me. Once again, that's why I am here or I wouldn't have posted. I know this forum tells it how it is.
I'm going to reevaluate everything I am doing. The cycle, fucking up my organs and trying to rush into getting on stage and the whole picture.
I did lose 3 1/2 inches on my waist in 5 weeks, but only dropped 1lb Of body weight in that time frame. This was before starting anything. I have the potential to be the best I CAN BE without the steroids if I push myself. I just have to stick with it and with the new workout regimen I'm doing, I'm not getting hurt at all either. That was my whole entire issue over the years of working out. It out me out of commission for months each time so my tendons could heal.
Speaking about my life, I do have two daughters and a fiance, I own an electrical business and have a lot of good going for me. I definitely don't want to shorten my lifespan because of stupid decisions.

I'm so glad you have the right mentality and responded the way you did. You seem like a good guy. I'm rooting for you.

The guys here are great, and none of us want to see your health suffer. I would like to see you succeed! I think it's awesome you're doing this at 37, I'm 38 and still toying with the idea of a show!
 
Yeah, thank you for all the advice and helping me out. I always think I know it all, but in reality I don't. I have to learn to live with that. Haha. I also want everything yesterday when I do anything. Impatient in other words. Something else I'm working on as a man. Better late than never, I suppose.

Thank you bro. Yeah I hope I do well also. If I don't think I am ready when the time comes, I might not do it and just wait. My trainer seems to think he can get me there in this time frame. He has been seeing me workout over the years, this is just the first time I have actually used him for the help.

He was 62 and won 3rd place 3 years ago. He has won lots of shows and trained tons of people in his time. So I'm just trusting him. And yes, he does know I'm gonna take the anabolics, just not how much. He always told me there is a difference between use, misuse and abuse.
 
If the show is in 4 months and you are susceptible to tendon issues (as am I) and don’t want to run test higher than 300. Try test at 300 and deca at 300 and maybe dbol or drol for the first 4 weeks until 6 weeks out and then switch to test prop and mast at 50-75 eod with var then 1-2 weeks out drop the test. It’s very basic and as far as it goes much safer. I Wouldn’t run proviron and mast because that’s kind of redundant. You don’t need to throw everything but the kitchen sink in there. If you have a contest in 4 months how much growth do you really think you can get? At 160 in current condition you’ll probably hop on stage at around 140 from what I could tell( I’m not wearing my glasses).
also just because you can physically handle the sides of something doesn’t mean it’s a good idea. Guys casually run way too much tren.
Why is it that you don’t want to run test at around 500mg because honestly I still think you could squeeze a lot of that.

also I’m definitely impressed if you can stick to a serving of Nutella because the whole jar of Nutella and peanut butter would be gone if I took one bite especially while dieting

What body fat percentage do you guys think I'm around right now as of those pictures 3 to 4 weeks ago? Y'all really think I'm going to lose that much weight (to 140) to get down to where I need to be for a show? I just want to make sure you guys do remember that I'm only 5'4. I'm really short. LOL
 
and also to answer one of your other questions about the tendon issue, it was because I was lifting heavy weights all the time. I never took a break from lifting heavy weights and powerlifting. I was being dumb and warming up with 225 on the bench for example. 225 on the squats. I was benching 395 lb for 1 and 495 for 3 on squats. Deadlift was about 545 for 1. At around the same weight. Or should I say between 165 and 175. So it always took a toll on my tendons and basically the only tendons it really hurt was in my elbows. But when I took all that time off, they were fine and since I've been working out with the trainer, he has not been having me do all that crazy weight and everything has been feeling better, 100%

Hey guys, new to this forum, but have been on other forums in the past. About to compete in my first bodybuilding show June 20th and have a lot of work to go!!! Been working out on and off for about 7 years now. I tend to try to lift heavy weight all the time and always hurt my tendons and have to stop working out, so I am taking a different approach this time and switching up everything.
I have been back in the gym for about 11 weeks now and getting back slowly, but surely. I actually have the owner of my gym training me and giving me my diet plans for the competition, which he has been doing for over 40 years, as well as competing for over 35 years. I'm trying to shred this body fat, which I have always had a hard time doing with my own diet.
My avatar is me like 4 weeks ago. Everything is getting better each week and my main focus is getting rid of the body fat and learning how to pose, which is not easy!!!!!
Any tips or advice will always help. Also let me know what you think of my progress so far being back at it.(avatar)

I have aromasin on hand, but that's the reason why I take low-dose test so I don't have any worries with estro.

This is my cycle. I know it is a lot and that's why I am here. To answer some of you guys questions because I'm sure you're going to ask, I've done tren plenty of times and me and Tren love each other. Lol. No harsh sides or anything. The only thing that I listed that I have not ever taken is the proviron and the Halo. Everything I do has always been with minimal to no sides and blood work always looks great and I feel great.

And I'm actually starting this new diet with the Nutella and peanut butter at night, today LOL.
At this point I’m more interested in how the Nutella works out when you’re deeper into prep lol. Jk.
At 5’4 and 140 shredded you’ll probably look awesome tbh.
Are you opposed to gh at all? I think lower dosed gear like what I proposed with some gh you’ll really be amazed. I’m thinking of doing my first show in October or November and I’ll probably run 500 test 300 npp and 50 mg drolwith 3iu hgh until 4-6 weeks. Then I’ll run test prop and mast p 75 eod with 25 winstrol 25 var and drop the test 2 weeks out and maybe the gh if I’m holding any water. The drol Will be only for 3-4 weeks

I’m in the same boat as you. I screwed myself up by just pounding heavy weights and slacking on warmups when I was younger. I’m still a progressive overload guy but just much more careful. I’ll have leg days where I’m laying in the locker room for a good 45 minutes before I can drive.
 
As for the HGH, I thought about it quite a few times, I'm just trying to see if it's worth the money. That's the only thing that steers me away.

On another note, I took a few more posing pics tonight. I will post them in a little while. Every 12 sessions, we do new posing pics and measurements on body parts. I will also post my measurements from the first week back at the gym, the 5th week and now the 9th week so you guys can see the progress I have been doing. That will be tomorrow.

Honestly I really think hgh absolutely is, even if you just run it for a month at a time. John Meadows said hgh was game changer for him. I got more out of 3iu hgh 5 days a week with 250 test than I did from 750 test. With the amount some guys spend on insane doses of gear I always wonder why they just don’t cut the doses in half and add in some decent growth. If it’s legit a little goes along way.
 
So those first pics in the first post were from week 5 back in the gym. These are week 9. Let me know if y'all see improvements in the 4 weeks.

I agree completely with what the other guys are saying. I'd just like to comment on your statement, " I just don't want to fuck up and not get as much as possible before the show in 4 months." Why do you need to go insane to prep for this show specifically four months out? You're 36, you're starting late already so what's the rush? Now you just Wanna slam the drugs. It doesn't make any sense. You're basically going to subject your body to some really harsh cycling in order to accomplish what? I'll be real and say the hard thing. Your waist is wide as fuck, your musculature is largely undeveloped and no amount of drugs is going to fix your genetics. I'm never going to win athelticon. Im young but I know damn well I may never even see a pro card. But with that in mind, why the fuck are you gonna kill yourself to just place at a national qualifer? Bro, you might not have anything else to live for right now. Shit, sometimes it's like that. But you may very well in the future have a lot to live for, And you don't want to mortgage several years of your life going insane with doses and fucking up all your internal organs. You need to reevaluate this whole thing. I gave it to you straight dude. Don't let it hurt your feelings and keep your head high. I'm telling you there is more to life than this, and if you don't already know that now you're sure as hell gonna figure that out later. I don't know your life, but the signs just tell me you don't appreciate it enough right now. You may not be happy, and want to pour everything in to this. Keep pursuing what you love, but don't kill yourself over this. There's other things in life to find sustainable happiness.

I've been away from this board for awhile, mostly bc I've found greater responsibility in life these days and the constant bickering that sometimes ensues here seems trivial at best to me now. I didn't have a lot to say after your initial post OP, but as I continued to read...your genuineness, humbling honesty, and willingness to take direction actually moved me. There is a lot of good advice here, and anyone that knows me or has read my posts knows I don't know dick about being on stage. I just wanted to say that this exchange between you two specifically really reminded me why I joined this community originally, and rekindled the love I have for the brotherhood of this board. So thank you for reminding me why I keep coming back.

I'm not going to comment on your diet or cycle, but for what its worth I think you should do your show. You made a commitment to yourself see it through, use it as a learning experience and accountability to make changes in your lifestyle and diet. Shave that head man, get you a tan and a bannana hammock show those shitbags what you're made of. Best of luck and I hope you reach your goals...
 
I actually ordered some Brazilian cut "underwear" for the show. When you said get a banana hammock, I actually had to Google it.

I need to let go of what little hair I have left. I get my girl to cut it on a number 1 with the clippers for now. But I have been slacking. Lol. I have been slacking with my tanning also. I'm paying for a $50 membership and have not even went but like twice. I was doing the spray tan, but it messes up my hands no matter what I do. Sucks.
