Woah. There is a 136 grams of fat in 1 pound of 70/30 ground beef. That’s a huge amount.
1500 calories tho. 65 grams of protein

Yeah, but break that down into x number of servings and it won't be quite the macro smasher that it is now.

Unless you plan to consume the entire pound in a single day? In which case... Fatty, fatty 2x4, can't fit through the kitchen door.

:D:p

Because that vertical diet calls for the highest quality beef... maybe you read that somewhere?
That is one place but I think because of the fat content of lower grade was why it was recommended.

Well I had hoped lol.
So maybe 1/2 pound of 70/30 and a half pound of 90/10 and a pound of ground chicken and a pound of pulled chicken breasts. That should get me close to my protein requirements
1/2 pound 90/10 399 calories 22.5 fat 45 protein
1/2 pound 70/30 750 calories 68 fat 32.5 protein
1 pound of ground chicken 680 calories 36 fat 88 protein
1 pound of pulled chicken 748 calories 16 fat 139 protein

Calories Fat. Protein
399. 22.5. 45
750. 68. 32.5
680. 36. 88
748. 16. 139

2577. 132.5. 404.5

2577 calories
132.5 grams fat
404.5 grams of protein

Sounds pretty good huh?
Just fill it up with oats/rice/potatoes to reach carbs and total calories.

@Mac11wildcat will you sign off on this?

@The ole man Looks good but can you really maintain this? 4 lbs of meat a day + carbs needed to meet your total caloric intake needed for growth? I would break it down by meals. So meal 1-meal 6 for example. Plan out what you eat in every meal and make it match your total caloric/macro goal. Use a couple protein shakes a day to help hit your protein goal.

Well that’s a little too much lol.
So I will trim it down a little but I definitely like how the macros came out.

Had to take a snap shot because it keeps moving my numbers when I post it.

For it to work this is how I got to do it. I have to cook it this way and eat it this way.
It’s not nothing new. If you had been following me in the food thread you will see that I’ve hat half pound burgers every day and I eat pound of ground chicken about every night. I fry it up and put catchup on it. But I’m gonna get to reduce my portions anyway because of where my calories and macros ended up at.
I can cut everything by a 25 to 30 %

So that brings it down to .8 pound ground beef and 1.5 pounds of chicken.
That looks easily doable.
Hell Mac truck said he eats 4 pounds of chicken a day!
So I should be able to eat .8 pound of ground beef and 1.5 pounds of chicken.
Potatoes are easy and the rice is my only concern. But from here I can tweak the diet to make it easier. I just wanted a base to work off of. Now I can see little tweaks to make it easier.
