I'm a former Marine. Respect all other branches. It really depends what one did in the service. I know Marines are made to think they are the best and baddest, and we may have the toughest boot camp... But it really depends on the MOS and what you did. There's plenty of Army guys that are tough as nails, been through shit and Marines that are shit birds. I don't know what exactly you said, I'm not really going at you for that reason, just stating my opinion. Hopefully the stolen valor thing isn't true... That's low. Id never make claims to have been in combat situations k was never in. I didn't see any combat. To be honest I'm not too proud of my service and don't really talk about it. I had a drinking problem and was very violent at that time in my life and ended up getting an OTH 2 years into my enlistment. I was in a soft MOS and hated it, and it wasn't what I imagined being a Marine would be like. After several incidents that I couldn't keep my hands to myself like a good boy, they discharged me. Saying all that to say... I'd never claim my service was any different than what it was... Even when people find out I was a Marine and ask me about it. I either don't speak about it... Or tell the truth. I'm not a combat vet or ant kind of war hero.
