Construction thread... Show off your work!

especially when your in full overalls, helmet, half face mask respirator, gloves, earmuffs, harness and a tool belt
Fuck dude, that sound fucking miserable. I remember doing a boiler room and having to do above all the pipes. I thought that was bad, but wasn't anywhere near that temp.

So worked yesterday in an existing building at that school. It was the science building, holy shit they have a full on lab. 3 autoclaves, about 50 balances 20 or so magnetic stir plates, a shit ton of glassware and a bunch of microscopes. I was literally expecting to see an hplc there. I wish my kids were I'm that school district! Looked like college level shit to me, we didn't have anything like that at my highschool

So I finished that school 10 days ahead of schedule. The boss is giving me a couple four story office towers to run next. Over half a million contract for us. If this job goes well, I should keep getting bigger and bigger jobs to run. I'm pretty excited, and rally glad I switched to this other company

Thanks brother, yea the last job I was solo. This one is probably too big to do alone, I'm going to try though. There are a lot of lazy cunts with my company....

How do you guys balance training in work? I have a hell of a time training with tool and die just from the schedule demanding I wake up at 5:30am. By the time I can train at 6pm I'm kinda spent. Obviously when you value it you'll still make it happen... but as a student right now I love going into the gym tip top mcgoo. Do you guys have any tips for training? I used to notice chilling at home after work for an hour or so gave me a big bounce back energy wise.

I just started going in the mornings, I get up at 3 drive to the city work is at, and hit the gym down there, then go to work. It takes some getting used to, but I feel great after I leave on my way to the job with a pump. I wasn't going during the week before, there are too many people at the gym after work and I had no energy, this way is better

I have a wife and kids. I dont like to miss any possible time spent with them so I go in the morning. During the work week I get up st 1:50am. I hit the gym then drive 1 hour to work and start by 5am. All so I can get home around 5pm so I can be with the family. It's the only possible way it works for me. You would be surprised what you can get used to.
