just got s tracking update saying "processing exception" and there has been some kind of problem with my pack. I ordered domestically. Anybody ever have this happen to them? Or know anything about it?

Most likely it was mis-routed to the wrong processing or sort facility....if this isnt the case, well...im sure you know what im getting at...

i've had that happen before.
i have a horrible memory, but i do believe that happened to my last pack, which never made it to me.

It kept bouncing around different facilities, then was returned to sender, at which point the updates stopped.

The source did a reship for me and that one made it to me without error.

Though it still sits in the back of mind, where the fuck is the original?
If it didn't make it to me and the source used a fake return address, where is it and who's shootin' my gear!? :D

How often does this happen domestically?

It happens as I mentioned in the other thread... how often? Man, only the postal inspector's office would have raw numbers, but even with those, since you have no way of knowing how many orders went through in total it just isn't a thing you can characterize.

It doesn't happen often with domestic orders. I'd be very careful if I were your source. It might be time for him to change things up a bit.

Processing exception happens more than you would think. In can be one of many reasons for you to get that message. There was an error in the address. The postal machines made the bar codes unreadable. Human error in sorting or a misrouted package. Those are just a small amount of reasons you will see processing exception.
