Has anyone ever tried to get their Oly shoes heel cut down to a lower heel?

I recorded my myself squatting the other day and my Oly shoes just force me forward with low bar positioning. Throwing my bar path off. I love the stability of the Oly shoes. It would be great if I can get them cut down to low heel drop.

I don't like chucks. But I am open to other suggestions.

I have the reebok crossfit lite ltr shoes. However they have been discontinued so good luck finding any. I was using oly shoes and kept flaring up my patella tendon on my right knee. I switched to the flat shoes and my knee pain is gone. There was a slight learning curve switching to flat shoes but I'm better off now.

I'm experiencing that slight pain my knee as well. I know it's the Oly shoes. I'll find something. For now I'll either squat in my sabo deadlift shoes or my metcons. M

I agree with @Demondosage , try the asics wrestling shoes. You can get a pair for like $35. But they run small so order a half size or 1 size larger than normal. I wear a 11 and got size 11.5 and they where tight as hell but fit. I recently got some sabo deadlifting shoes and they are awesome but run about $90.
Have you tried squatting in the Sabo deadlift shoes? I have a pair as well.

The biggest adjustment I had to deal with switching to flat shoes was walking the weight out. I didn't know how much I was relying on the raised heel of my oly shoes until I switched. I about went down with 405 on my back when I stepped back with flats on and that raised heel wasn't there. LOL!
