Full Body 5-6 times a week on the bicylce

Hi. I know this has brought up in the past. I've trained for about 5 years. When I'm not riding the bike I have been squatting 5-6 times a week with some great results. I usually am front squatting those days and will bench 3-4 times a week and DL twice or so. What are your guys thoughts on Squats/Bench everyday while on cycle and should I be pushing myself harder (like new 5rm/1rm a week) or doing the same RPE I've been doing?
 
I don't think I would ever push past RPE 9 in that situation. Going for PRs and hitting RPE 10 when I should have hit 9 always ends up making me hit a wall when running an RPE program. I think you should keep doing what you're doing.
 
It's a terrible idea. Your elbows will hate you your shoulders will strain and our body won't recover you can't do multiple compounds daily with heavy weight even when you do a squat everyday program if it's done right generally you never pass a 8RPE. If you want to get a new 5rm weekly then you'd have to be a brand new lifter doing a linear program who's never touched weights before. I don't know what kind of "biking" you are doing but if it's anything like myself then having sore legs and shot shoulders ain't gonna help you

The indoor bike things take a lot of getting used to.
When my girl started she was borderline suffering getting used to the bikes.
 
You should start a log of this type of training now or when you start your blast. I've read Squat Every Day, but never tried it. I'd love to see a log of it and I'm sure a lot of others would, too.
 
I got a squat everyday log somewhere on meso did it for 76 days or something stupid like that made some awesome results with it but it was hell

Was I around for that? I think I remember it actually. Still I like seeing logs of different training styles.
 
Fuck that be tuff to recover from my body aches head to toe doing my S/B/D once a week on top of regular accessory work

I'll start this as my log.

First day. Haven't been sleeping lately. Natty, planning cycle. 6ft 180. 12% BF. Pretty weak compared to you folks. Early 30s.

I was up pretty early so read a bit and then hit the gym.

FS- work up to 300x1
Went up pretty easy
Bench- work up to 240x5
Pull-ups- 25 dead hangs

I plan to DL, weighted chin up and row later on this afternoon. I'm gonna see how this frequency pans out for me. I'm not doing a ton of volume.
