possible drug screen fail need ideas

Been smoking a little reefer lately, got popped for a drug screen today at work with no time to prepare at all. I've read about the MRO interview if I test positive and all that... I'm curious if I say I use hemp oil religiously or something that could've rendered it a false positive, could it work? Would it maybe buy some time to take a new sample and flush my system out? Are there other options I could use like the hemp oil idea? I'm also on a heavy cycle right now with tren mast and test all short esters, could my metabolism be enough to keep my metabolite number below threshold? I don't smoke much at all but it's been frequent. Also had some this morning, was popped about 3 hours after taking a small hit

Idk if it would work, but its a good idea. imo

I've smoked up to and the night before a test, but I took some magic (lol) pills from GNC and drank 2 gals of water a couple hrs before the test.

Good Luck

Say you took a vacation to Colorado or somewhere else it's legal.

From there it's up to your employer. Employer might want to have a sit down with you and subject you to another or series of tests like a probation.

But to get whacked for smoking once would suck.

Hate to say it man but there is really not much you can do I don't think...

I am involved in drug testing employees at my job, I don't like it but it is necessary unfortunately, and there are very very few reasons a second urine sample is ever taken. They do not typically do second tests for the very reason you're hoping to do a second test... It gives you an advantage to pass the second time. Even drinking a lot of water can turn into a failed test too because the facility can tell you've diluted your urine in an attempt to mask a substance, although it can work sometimes if you haven't drank a metric shit ton of water as some try to do. You can try the hemp oil argument but to my knowledge it contains no THC. A fail is usually a fail no matter the circumstances... The only possible thing you can do is sweet talk the EMPLOYER into letting you try again but it's unheard of... At least as far as the other employers I know it is, there is always another candidate to go with.

Hope things work out for you regardless though man. I think marijuana should be legal for recreational purposes for those of age myself but that's a discussion for a different thread lol.

Lol the ole, "I don't smoke but was around it" defense.

Hm... well, I'm sure I'll be getting a call probably tomorrow about it. I know I'll pop for benzos but I have a script. I had pissed a few times that morning, I'm dehydrated. I know drank a monster and a little water and pissed about three times prior to testing..piss was still yellow but it could've been clean at least for the test given to me. The tren makes my piss yellow and bubbly. I chugged 3 bottles of water before taking the test but I don't think that helped any, it was about 15 minutes before taking it. Piss was still dark like I said. I'm wondering if these compounds I'm running could've maybe interfered with metabolite release and kidney function? I know most thc metabolites exit the system through the stool, not the piss.

And yeah I was thinking I could say I took a weekend up to Colorado and ate a cookie just try to try it because it was legal there and I'm ignorant to the fact that even though it's legal I didn't realise I still can't do that

Also the THC you smoked in the AM would NOT metabolize into your piss 3 hours later.

Shit does not happen that quick.

The average daily smoker, Simone who smoked every day for years can be clean of THC metabolite in 7 days.

I read a paper on medical studies cause I was nervous about piss tests cause I used to smoke. The whole 30 day thing is garbage and bullshit.

If you carry low fat, workout, are in good shape I would say you can be clean in just a few days if your a occasional smoker (few hits a month)

I honestly think I have a chance given that I had pissed a few times and drank caffeine before hand. I'll find out soon.... this could mean being homeless all over again for me if I lose my job. Everything would be fucked... I hate the drug war. It ruins lives

Is this a job you already have? I was under the impression it was pre employment? That changes things.

You'll be alright my man. Hang in there.

Yeah the drug war is bullshit.

OK, I reread your original post and it sounds like this is a CURRENT job. That changes my answer...

This SHOULD be how this goes down: if you test positive for THC, which you likely will, the testing facility should call you first to ask you if you know of any reason why you would have a positive test. I would be completly honest with them, start with the benzo script info and then let them know you are and I quote "struggling to stop your use of marijuana for recreational purposes." As soon as you hang up the phone look up a phone number for an outpatient rehab facility and make an appointment. When your employer calls you into the office and asks about the drug fail you tell him you struggle with addiction issues and you are CURRENTLY seeking treatment. Apologize for the issues and try to get them to ACKNOWLEDGE that your work performance has not been affected by the PAST substance use. My capital words are on purpose because that is the way it is spelled out by law. If you are CURRENTLY seeking help for drug use prior to termination ( I know I know it's just weed I didn't write the laws ) and it's not affecting your work performance in a negative way then your employer is opening themselves up a lawsuit.

Not a fun experience but the above is better than losing one's home ( I suggest you mention that part too )

In addition, if the employer has not given you a handbook or detailed the company drug policy you can claim ignorance if you do lose your job and likely gain the opportunity for unemployment. It's not an easy argument but it can happen, I've seen it.

Research employee fairness laws with regard to drug testing and make your case. It would not be a bad idea to make an appointment now for outpatient treatment as they will fuck themselves if they fire an employee with chemical dependence, a legal disability, while they are seeking treatment.

That'll be $500 a quarter of your finest...:)

All due respect. If you do escape without harm this time, it may be wise to change vices if the job is worth keeping?

Remember, I said 'all due respect' so anything I say after that is ok.... :0

GREAT Advice

I have anxiety and depression and insomnia written all over my medical files.. but wouldn't doing all this jeopardise future job opportunities? @Eman what could come of a lawsuit and everything?
