This is my first thread so bear with me...
Sidenote: I put this in the Underground for the audience, not necessarily the subject matter. If it should go elsewhere please move.
I belong to a few boards, but only lurk there and only participate (recently) @ Meso because there is much more traffic and content.
I also like the uncensored aspect, although like all good ideas, it's not without its unintended consequences:
There appear to be a ton of members passing themselves off as vets, or handing out terrible info, that buries all the good info from those we should be listening to.
**So here is my Member COC proposal:
We already have a gang of guys looking for scammers and holding srcs feet to the fire.
Because of this, guys who are handing out BS advice after never cycling (I'm stockpiling for my 1st) or running PCT after their prohormone cycle, etc., are being given a pass and are therefore more "dangerous" ... no one is asking them why we should trust a word they say.
They just have some time here and a little forum cred, and act like vets.
On the other side of the coin, lots of dudes who know whats up don't participate (many used to but don't now) because it's not worth it to float a perspective and have it lost on a screaming lunatic who can't handle his first tren run.
So here's my suggestion:
The Member COC is that all members must post age, yrs training, yrs cycled, and ht/wt/bf stats in their sig.
GUYS: our body is our billboard right? If some tweaker crawled out of his grandmama's basement and started handing out diet advice at the Planet Fitness, would you listen?
If a 20 yr old one time cycler tells you his XYZ Labs "Fire" is "G2G" because it's clear and looks smooth... well you get the point.
I think this will keep the scamming members out just like the scamming sources, and ad validity to dudes who live the life and have paid the dues and earned the strips to prove it (not saying I'm one of them btw).
Please provide your suggestions and constructive feedback, if you disagree with the proposal entirely, great, just give a legit reason. Obviously people can lie on their stats, but they'll be on the record and will trip up at some point.
BTW: this is in no way meant to be demeaning to younger or less experienced guys, only those who are passing themselves off as something they are not. If you are new to this, the guys who know are usually happy to help you out- even if you ask a "dumb" question at times- as long as you're cool about it and show some effort to find the answer yourself first.
So.... thoughts?????
