That was easily the most horrific thing I have ever seen in my life. I couldnt even watch the whole thing, as I honest to god thought I was going to puke. The bowl of bran flakes I was eating almost came right back up. I have seen the other ones and they were quick and not as gruesome, but he was alive for a long time while they were doing it, and they were going very slow, basically slowly sawing it off. It is time to get the hell out of there before this gets too bad. What a huge mistake by Bush...anyone who has any sense will vote for Kerry and hope he has a plan to get out of there, although I am still waiting for him to tell us exactly what he plans to do.

Sensational is what these islamist separatists require. They need the attention outside the muslim community that an act against western cultralists will garner. The american media bit, they reported it as the lead story on every channel, and we all tuned in and watched in horror while they were flooded with advertisers eager to pay for your awe-struck attention. Thede beheadings have been going on for thousands of yrs in Islam. Its standard sentence for murderers and any who committ drimes against Allah .

Whats new is the acts perpetrated against our countrymen. Something has got to give. Full committal is required by the US, or immediate whithdrawal. Nothing otherwise will quell this situation.

i don't see how anyone can think that leaving the area would help our cause...they place absolutely no value on human life, not even their own...if kerry gets elected and we leave, then we can rest assured knowing that there will never be another 9/11 type attack, right? if anyone thinks that then they are naive, those people in the middle east have been fighting for thousands of years and as soon as we pull our forces out we can most assuredly expect another terrorist attck on our soil. unfortunately, i think that this is just something we will have to get used to as part of our everyday lives...in America we live in this very secluded and safe bubble that is unlike anywhere in the world...our homeless people live better than most people in the middle east...then we have all these human rights people who say we have to treat the prisoners nicely...i can not believe the uproar over our soldiers taking pictures of prisoners naked or whatever and the enemy is over there using a butter knife to saw off someone's head...why don't we just kill these people when we catch them? those stupid human rights people would have different feelings if their loved one were getting decapitated...the new threat of terrorism and our involvment in fighting in the middle east will probably never go away...i don't know, this probably doesn't make sense but whatever...there is no easy solution to the situation...

oh yeah, someone posted about cutting off those guys heads...well I don't think I could do that, but I would have no trouble putting a bullet in their head...

Scotsman....I agree with you buddy. The US, UK, and Australia and many other countries need to take care of their problems at home as well.

However, I was speaking in broader terms here. I'm sorry, but as the world power (which the US never asked to be that...it is just understood that we are), I believe we have the right to "stick our noses" where many people believe they do not belong. If we give them money, food, medicine, supplies......to a certain point they "owe us". To a certain point, they do answer to us!!!

But, when a fucking Muslim piece of shit comes to my country with the purpose of killing me, my family, and my fellow countryman.....all bets are off!!! If it's good for the goose, it's good for the gander. I have ZERO problem invading a potentionally menacing country in order to prevent attacks if it will save AMERICAN lives!!!

At some point the citizens of Iraq need to stand up for themselves if the violence is trully not of their doing. For some reason we get blamed when a foreign Arab blows up Iraqis. If they want a secure free Iraq, they need to do their part. If not...level a city to make an example. I guess I'm at that point.

I read yesterday that these guys had complained to coworkers that they felt they were being "staked out" , and they were concerned. McCain thinks we need more boots on the ground there, i gotta at this point agree with him.

At this point why would any civilians in their right mind decide to go work in Iraq ? They are not altogether being protected. Even the Blackwater guys have been grabbed.

Iraq was alot better off without us there . So were we.

I still think Iraq will be better off in the long run, but we need to quit pussy-footing around. We may take some casualties, but they sure as hell are going to take more. If they want to hide in a mosque...level it.

We def made a mistake by not being more heavy handed after the initial fall of Bahgdad. Way too concerned of perceptions. Look where it's gotten us.
 
yes more manpower is needed over there. The Marines are talking about an all out offensive on Fallujah and Najaf to try and stabilize the area. Jbiggs you are right....we walked on eggshells after baghdad fell and it fucked us. there needs to be some serious offense being played here very soon. this shit needs to stop. and as much as it sucks that we are there and people are dying, leaving would only cause more deaths and problems. we cannot just simply pull out....we HAVE to step it up all the fucking way and stop fuckin around. Just like what was said- stop caring about how the world perceives us...if they hide in a mosque, level it. no more religious boundaries here. they are fighting in the name of their God, so lets fight their God head on and fuck up his houses if they want to hide there. this is bullshit i cant beleive another one is dead
