WWB Testing Group - A Few Oils and Pills

First, I appreciate the tremendous service you’ve done for the community and your testing philosophy generally. Your legendary rep here is well earned. I agree that of course ideally it’s better to test everything.

A reseller has to test everything.

Most end users have to be selective as to what they test though, and should focus on high risk UGL products.

I was simply making the point that $380 for testing UGL Telm makes no sense. It’s not practical for an end user when a telehealth prescription and filling a year’s supply from their local pharmacy is under $100.

In fact buying UGL Telm makes no sense for anyone period, when Pharma grade from India is cheaper, with COAs available from the manufacturer, and for the API used (Indian law requires those to be publically available, I’ve gotten them on request, though I know they can be faked).

IMO opinion meds that are easily available from actual pharma manufacturers, like BP or ED drugs for instance, should never be bought from UGLs.

UGLs have no tablet making expertise, use the same excipient mix for everything because they don’t have to do dissolution tests like pharma companies are required to. We know UGL tablet variability is all over the place, UGL should always be a last resort, for things you can’t source from pharma.

Speaking of getting it locally with a prescription, I wonder who made this generic I picked up from CVS….

Ascend Labs in New Jersey.

That’s reassuring. No need to test this of course.

Wait a sec, looks like it’s actually made by

“Inventia” in India.

A lot of generic med manufacturing is subcontracted out like this. I think 80% of US generic meds in pharmacies come from India.

It sounds familiar though.

I have a few boxes of 150 x Telm 40mg I got from India Pharma for $6.

I chose Sanofi because they’re a large multinational generic pharma company that sells meds in the US. I figure that makes them more “reliable” since I can check with the FDA online to see the results of inspections (US FDA has an office in India), drug recalls etc.

Let me flip the blister pack over.

Marketed by: is Indian code for “we used a subcontractor”. So Sanofi didn’t make this. Of course I’m a bit ADD and gone this far so I’m going to check out the actual manufacturer.

That explains why the tabs look identical to what I got from CVS :)

(But the Indian aluminum blister pack is far superior to the US bottle, since Telm is extremely sensitive to humidity).

In my mind, an end user, with a finite testing budget could reasonable assume it’s the same product and use their testing dollars for checking a kit of whatever from HYB, GGB, WWB or another 3 letter wonder. If the testing budget is unlimited, I could argue testing the inventia Telm from both CVS and India would be best. The FDA doesn’t test every batch of tabs being imported, only a tiny fraction, though I think the odds are pretty good they’re identical.
This is killer info! I'll have to dice into Indian pharma. My script for telemisartan state side also from ascend pharmacy's was 45 dollars for a 90 days supply. I feel robbed.

In the USA, try Mark Cuban's Cost Plus Drug Company where you can get 90 days of telmisartan 40mg for $10 and change cash price.

Is that the only BP med or do you use a combo with something else?
I also use amlodipine however it's like 5 bucks to fill for 90 days. I just adjusted. So I'll see if I need anything else in the next 2 weeks I have systolic resistant hbp. All things point to hyperaldosteronism trying to get a cardiologist to put in work to do the testing. Test has changed my life I was hypogonadal for 6 years. Now I'm just trying to make it work in conjunction. I'm currently 140/75 is my average. The increase of the amlodipine was from 2.5mg to 10. I'm in that adjustment stage.

Did their telmi come back as bunk or under dosed?

Never tested it. I had not realized the price to test was nearly $400. It simply was not worth it.

I gave my doc a story about BP hitting 150 and I went in for a checkup and made sure it was high that morning (you know the drill...). He was happy to give me Varsartan. Two weeks later I complained that it made me shed hair (sited anecdotal reviews on drugs.com) and asked for Telmisartan and he switched them. Took a month to make it all happen but at least its perpetual and covered by insurance.

An excellent skill you’ve developed there.

If you ever need to control lipids you can use a similar technique to get Repatha.

Funny thats in process right now... was fighting for Inclisiran until I realized it has to administered by a doctor and likely not covered by insurance. Too much hassle so I was like "Repatha will be just fine thank you."

Anyone have experience with WWB Aromasin? I bought Aromasin, nolvadex, arimidex, and temisartan from them hoping it's all legit. Really just concerned with the Ai's. Aromasin mainly... All Came in Hepius bottles if that makes any difference. Thanks guys

There is no reason to be buying ugl meds that you can get pharma, from the pct vendors.

Yeah I recently just became aware of pct zone, was trying to save a buck and get bulk from WWB assuming it was all legit. Since I already spent the money on the stuff. Just hoping it atleast works you know what I mean. Still learning a lot in this space

I used their Aromasin and it's legit. I actually overshot it for the cycle I was running and ended up with an E2 of 15....felt awful. I'm not saying it is, but it wouldn't shock me if it was 30mgs a tablet.
