Hello everyone, I don't really post, I'm more of a lurker. However I'm asking advice from the community on next steps.
I'm an experienced user, well over 8 years. I'm also experienced on the side of infection when it comes to injection. I know the risk involved and I do everything in my power to mitigate. I had recently picked up a few vials of primo 200 from WWB to use in a blast getting ready for show comp. The pinning schedule is .8 test cyp 250, .8 primo 200 for now 3x/week.
I did my first injection of the primo 2 weeks ago which followed with some pretty bad pip in my VG. I thought nothing of it and let it resolve. I thought maybe it was a result of scar tissue in the VG giving me problems. I decided to do some new muscle rotations I hadn't done before, namely left and right pec. Took all the necessary steps to clean everything, standard protocol. No problem, except a little soreness after injecting right pec. Switched to left pec for next primo pin.
This was Tuesday I injected the right. Friday rolled around and my chest muscles started getting very tight in one muscle bad in the middle of my pec to the point where it's hard to my my arm. Pain is not radiating from the injection sight, rather where that muscle band meets my sternum (center chest). It's is warm to the touch at the center chest and the right pec has swollen larger than the left, but no redness, no discharge, no noticeable fever. Just really bad discomfort.
As a precaution I have cephalexin on deck and I decided better safe than sorry. The funny part is I have no problem with the left chest injection and no problem with a Friday right shoulder injection. It's just this one. I pinned with a 29g 1/2 in backloaded slin pin.
Any thoughts on what is going on here? Solvents? Bunk? Glaring mistakes on my part?
Anything helps.
