Wuhan Wansheng Biotechnology Co., Ltd. (USA, International)

Yep. Had 2 non peptide packages shipped in Sept. One was snagged for counterfeit, the other one made it through. Different vendors, same shipper..
How they can know if its counterfeited? I ask because here on my country customs are very strict but counterfeit package pass everytime here, its a good thing to be send with couunterfeit here

It’s the postage that’s counterfeit.

But none of this has anything to do with customs.

Chinese ship to the US in large consolidated containers with thousands of packs from numerous companies.

Once the container is through customs, another “reshipping” company “relabels” the individual packages with US Postal Service postage labels with the final US shipping address on it.

A scam used by these “reshipping” companies is to reuse electronic postage codes by printing them on new labels.

Tens of millions of dollars in postage have been stolen this way.

The problem for recipients is that once they’re seized for counterfeit postage, they can be opened without a search warrant, something not usually allowed.

It’s potentially bad news. Unlike a seizure by customs, which only results in a letter, post office seizures can result in local law enforcement getting involved.

Ah, I understand. Here, something similar happens, but it's the customs officers or the mail carriers who steal the items if they want them, for example: brand-name sneakers, expensive clothes, or toys to give to their children.

Pretty sure my shits seized too, it got to customs on the 20th and now it says "delayed for postage assessment, held awaiting payment". $50 for shipping and it took 3 entire weeks to get to customs and now my shit won't be arriving because they're using counterfeit postage to save a few dollars. Can't fucking believe this shit.
I thought I was screwed to. My delayed, in transit to destination changed to held for postage assessment, awaiting payment . Itwas released 7 days later and has been in route to my regional facility for 2 days now.

It doesn’t mean that %100. Hopefully it was just a fluke. Maybe they made payment after they realized the needed to. I don’t know but I do know that my package was eventually released.

Thank God!!! So much shit in this package

Its going to read awaiting assessment first...especially just after customs
Then it will later read seized for counterfeit..
Mine was released 7 days after the postage assessment delay. It has been traveling for 2 days now. Departed Chicago Dec 24. Maybe they made a payment or maybe not all
of the packages have fraudulent postage sent by that 3PL. Packages are being flagged though %100. Not good for business at all

U sure its not heading back to customs?

Same exact story here. Held 18th, released 24th. Who knows if its on the way back to customs or me.

I’ve gotten 2 updates that it was in transit to its destination after departing Chicago. If it was sent back to customs wouldn’t it just says seized for counterfeit postage like the other 3 once they realized it’s counterfeit. Remember there 3 others a that had the delay message on the 18th that said siezed days later. Ours says departed meaning it was released. I know of others who had delayed message who also received their packs. It doesn’t make sense for it to say in transit to destination if it was going back to customs. If USPS finds fraud, they keep it and dispose of it. It becomes their property. They literally just throw it away, depending on what it is obviously.

I dont think the shipper would pay the postage after the fact seeing what they shipped. But one can hope. But if requires a signature, hell fucking no! Ain't mine. Dont know what it is.

How do you know they saw what they shipped though? Holding mail for postage is not holding it for contraband. It’s not the same thing. But you’re right they may have not paid anything but also maybe our packages passed the screening.

We will find out soon enough. At this point if you’re assumption is right, I wish they would tell us our shit isn’t coming so I can get my reship instead of dragging this out any more then it needs to be

Imo, I really think we are good man. It would've changed to seized if they found something fraudulent. Trying to positive here…
