Right on, brother!! Those are great numbers! I can only hope I can eventually hot those! Congrats!Meet Results.
Squats 3/3
180/192.5/207.5(457) pr
Smoked the squats . Could have cut these an inch or so higher and probably got 210kg or 463 but went conservative so I could go 3/3
Bench
135miss/140miss/140 (308)
Went 1/3 on bench , called both times for ass coming up. This really hasn’t been an issue in training but it was today. The last attempt I laid flat on the bench and didn’t even try to have my lower body tight. Didn’t want bomb out. It flew up , probably had another 10 kilos but was too late to try adding anything. I definitely have some stuff to work on with bench. Not sure if it was just the meet or what got to me.
Deadlifts 3/3
220/227.5/235 (518)
Was fairly spent by this point. These moved well and I could have maybe had another 2.5-5 kilos but I wanted to get my lifts and went fairly conservative since I was tired.
I did the pop tart thing and I think it gave me some what of a boost along with caffeine pills and eating my regular meals. All in all a good experience but I have some work to do on my bench form. I’ll probably do another meet at the beginning of next year.
Lifting started at 9 and got done at about 3. I got there at 730 and started stretching. It was a pretty much all day thing. Was warming up squats at 830 and took my last deadlift around 2:15 pmCongrats!
How long was the meet? The longer ones are brutal.
Hell with that. I'd have to order food. I brought a cooler of food and wouldnt have had enough to last 6 more hours. That's pretty ideal as far as meet time goes. My second meet started at 9am and last deadlifts were getting done at like 10pm. I'd rather not ever do a meet that long again.

Was that USPA?
Was it that meet that had a lot of lifters? Bet a smaller group would been much better as then it would not have taken so long. 13 hrs is a damn long day for sure! That's pretty ideal as far as meet time goes. RPS does sleeves and wraps in the same division. Unless its a record, then the record would read "sleeves only''. There wasnt a single mention of drug use or drug testing at the meet I was just at. I think the only way they even keep track of it is by the lifters declaring at the enrollment. They supposedly test lifters if they are in the non tested division and think they are on something but I didnt see anybody get tested.Nah, it was APA. Good thing about them is they use pounds rather than kilos, bad things they announce who is tested and untested and they have sleeves and wraps in the same division.

Yes that's pretty bad I'd say. If they had more than one platform that would speed things up as multiple lifters at one time be doing their lifts.Too many lifters and only one platform.
