Women bloodwork (sex hormones)

Hello !

I recently got bloodwork and these are the parameters that mostly worry me. I was running 10mg of test C weekly split in 2x 5mg injections. I have since then reduced my test C dose to 2x 2.5mg injections. I don't quite understand how my estrogen is so low... any advice to bring it back into a normal range? I am currently running primo E at 10mg daily so I'm not expecting that to help raise it at all.

My prolactin in also high but I was using a hormonal birth control at the time. I have since then stopped the hormonal birth control. My TSH came back elevated but my T4 is in range. They unfortunately canceled my T3 test.

Any advice is appreciated thank you.

One of the metabolites of primo acts as an AI in some people, and it looks like you're one of the lucky ones. If you drop the primo, your estrogen should come back in 4-6 weeks. If you want it to come back faster, I would use oral or injectable estradiol. Many birth control pills contain estradiol and could be used for this.

I wasn't using primo when I got this bloodwork done. But thank you for the advice

It’s low because your combined hormonal birth control suppresses ovarian hormonal output to zero, by design.

The ethinylestradiol in the tablet is not detected by this assay.
That's interesting. So if I stopped my hormonal BC then my estrogen should come back up naturally with time?

Would there be anything I could take to bring it back in a normal range? I mean women run TRT and primo all the time.
In order to know for sure you’d need to order more blood tests, I’m not sure to what degree women’s HPG axis (natural production of hormones) is suppressed by testosterone and primo.

If the tests show less than ideal levels, you could certainly take estradiol patches or other form of HRT to increase estradiol levels.
