My entire family had alpha. Kids were 7 and 2 at the time. I had multiple friends who had kids who got alpha. Kids were 100% getting alpha.Yea agreed and many younger folks did fine. But younger folks were not involved with Alpha at all. And Delta only began involve under 40's and then Omicrom got everyone.

I am curious tho at what date did you have covid? Because if you are referring to omicron yea that was easy money. Or at least it seemed. My buddy that got it his first time was as Early Generation Delta and he smoked pot thru the whole thing and was passing pipes with other potheads like lunatics. That was ABSURD to even consider at that juncture of the Covid Progression. He suffered for 2 weeks are pretty solid mental craziness and another two weeks of general shittiness and that was kind it for him other that who knows what could be going on. But he had no covid related lung issues. Maybe the pot protected his lungs. Hell for that matter my daugher was in a car for extended period very recently with a crew that came down with Covid the very next day and it did not touch her so she is still obviously GTG from our family bout with Omicron in Jan on this year.. I keep bumping into people that have it or find out they got it and it does not seem to affect me from a noticeable lung and flu like perspective at this juncture either. So I just dont know. But my GI Tract appears to be suffering long term consequence that is pretty much impossible to qualify medically. At least yet.
My parents 65 and 71 at the time both had delta. Not sure where you get this info from with ages and variants, but the virus doesn’t care what your age is to be infected. It’s like the flu. If you don’t have antibodies and the virus gets in you it will spread.
