Yes and much of it eventually contradicts itself.
I dont get that if people want the vaccine then they should be safe from the people who dont want it.
if you want the 95% effective vaccine, then why would you care if others dont get it, since you got it then you should be safe from the disease and the people who did not get the vaccine. So then why would you need a mask then. As to this is the whole point of the vaccine. That confuses me.
same with flu, if you get the vaccine to not get the flu, and i dont want the vaccine, why would you care since you got it, now you are safe from me not getting it.
I read something where it would have to change into a much different strain, because the vaccine hits the spike protein and not the strain itself. So since they targeted the spike protein, all covid 19’s that have this spike protein it should be effective against, so in theory it should be effective against all covid that has that spike protein.
On another note i think its weird that one of the vaccine companies said, “there is no evidence that the vaccine will not work against the new covid strain”
but no crap there is no evidence as the new strain just came out and nobody has the vaccine yet. That comment blows my mind.
I just heard a doctor on the news say you have to stay in or wear a mask after the shot because they do not know if it makes you contagious [emoji849][emoji849][emoji849][emoji849][emoji849][emoji849]

Flu shots do not work for me for some reason. Some swear by them--- they want you to have one every year. Someone is making them.... selling them and pushing you to use them. Covid vaccine is gonna be the same and potentially forced soon. Within 6 months it will be noticeable that if you do not have proof of vaccination life will start getting interesting. Big Pharma pads the pockets of the elected officials.... The money keeps flowing! Keep taking the meds they say. I think our lifestyles will minimize the effects of any virus for the most part--- Nothing is 100% but I very rarely get sick and at 50 I can still outwork everyone around me. So I gotta think I have a strong immune system. Just keep your nutrition solid and a few prayers can't hurt!

Apparently in England there is a new mutant covid 19 strain , I herd the news , jk I’m not sure I’m not a scientist but I don’t wish this disease upon anyone and I really just want things to get normal, whatever the case it’s now on the back 9 , I’m actually In no position to give medical or scienctific data , I was in the brick and block trade and worked i quit school , no college degree or experience like 99.9 % of the raging masses all of the sudden experts in plaugerizing some b.s they agree on with no real source or proof, however I am probably misinformed about this myself, ok topdog I’m off this one

You are correct - the vaccine will still work so long as the one spike protein the vaccine targets does not change.
The US has a different strain now - over 99% of cases for the last several months have been a new, more contagious virus. The mutation causing the increase in contagion was on a spike protein, but not the one targeted by the vaccine. So the vaccine still works against the dominant strain.
As for the newest strain from the UK, it is likely already here. They have no idea if the vaccine is effective against the newest strain. They are still trying to figure that out. Both Pfizer and Moderna are testing right now against the new, 17 mutation mutant . . .

Just as a refresher, the vaccine is mRNA (messenger ribonucleic acid). This tells your cells what to do (mRNA is involved when you lift weights and eat to tell the cells what to do). In this case, the mRNA being injected tells your cells to produce this spike protein.
You get two injections.
Your body produces the spike protein both times. The spike protein is foreign. Your body will "reject" it. Your body will produce antibodies that attack this spike protein.
Then, when you get exposed to the real corona virus two months later, your body already has its defenses up with antibodies that are just looking for, search and destroy, this one spike protein. So long as the real corona virus has this spike protein, your body has everything ready to attack it.
The 95% figure is for mild and moderate symptoms. In other words, those vaccinated will get a stuffy nose and loss of sense of smell at a rate of about one twentieth of those who do not get the vaccine.
But the big news is that the Moderna vaccine was 100% successful when it came to severe disease (ventilator, death). Not one single person had severe disease on the vaccine. Placebo folks did. How would you like to be one of these germophobe types who so desperately wanted to volunteer for the trials, who gets the virus and ends up hospitalized only to discover you were in the placebo cohort? LOL!

Flu vaccine works the same for everybody. You are not a mutant or alien. This is simple biology - unless you have full blown AIDS the vaccine works for you.
I have taken the flu vaccine and gotten sick with the flu, though. Did that mean it did not work for me?
There are four major strains of flu. The vaccine is chosen by experts who try to predict which flu strain will be the dominant one at flu season. They have to do this far ahead of time in order to produce the vaccine. (A) sometimes they miss this prediction entirely. (B) even when they predict correctly, there is usually another strain running around at lower levels.
In situation (A) you still get the dominant strain and so does everybody else who was vaccinated because you are immune by vaccination against another strain that turned out not to be dominant this year.
In situation (B), well, luck of the draw, you are immune to the dominant strain but caught one of the lesser strains against which the vaccine did not grant you immunity.

New strain confirmed in South Africa and is now the dominant strain there. Another new strain has been found in Nigeria, but they don't know about how frequent or its effects yet.
