This from another site with the post titled, "When will the COVID vaccine be available."
I’ve noticed this same trend when it comes to the science of shutdowns and masks. The mandates come into effect either just as the jurisdiction is reaching its peak or after the peak has already passed and the cases and death rates start to fall. Not surprisingly the mandates are always credited with the fall in cases and the fact that they have already started to fall is ignored.This from another site with the post titled, "When will the COVID vaccine be available."

I believe you read it correctly but I don't think it means what you think it means.
If you look at the chart of comorbidities you'll see the illnesses that contributed to death - they weren't all serious underlying conditions but some of the categories of illness are broad. For instance, asthma and lung cancer are in the same category... Regardless, asthma is considered an underlying condition. Additionally, pneumonia is in another category... Which COVID can cause. Hypertension is even a category, IE high blood pressure... So is diabetes. There are a bunch of pretty common conditions in the categories... It kind of made me think of how few people I know or work with that have underlying health conditions even though I wouldn't immediately think of it that way
So, this isn't really the smoking gun that it seems to be made out to be on social media.

They definitely confused things with reporting pneumonia stats "with or without" COVID. But considering the science of pandemics has become the politics of lock downs, I think it's going to take some smooth talking politicians, epidemiologists and other fear mongers to change this into anything less than a smoking gun. They predicted millions and got 180K and now the data is showing a bunch of sick old people, many if not most already dying, were the lion's share of even that.
I generally agree, but I think the context of someone having an "underlying condition" that could be just asthma is important to note. I actually noticed this article on a right wing friend's social media first and I don't know if people aren't reading the info or just don't understand it but there was some seriously misinterpreted information floating around...
Fuck smooth talking politicians. I don't think there's an innocent one among them, I wouldn't be satisfied until they were all voted out. It was like they were on a roll with bad decisions and just wanted to see how long they could go.
With all that said, I'm taking stats with sort of a grain of salt because I am more interested in what they'll look like in a year or two when more dust settles. I'm also more interested in the studies of what kind of long term effects are going on... Lung damage, heart damage, etc.

At the moment, the Chilean Ministry of Health is still determining how the production and delivery of the cards will be, however, it is clear that for each rule there is a way around and the creation of this certificate that would allow privileged circulation to certain sectors of the population will also encourage them to seek ways to obtain it, legally or illegally.( From an article from chilie about possible immunity passports they might impliment)

Unfortunately my wife and son will be mandated because they work at a hospital. Like someone said the money is good and besides a personal fuk up always have a job. Me on the other hand. No thanks.

You know at the end of the day, I hope the people in charge learn from the mistakes made from this. Keep an open mind about what actually worked and what didn't. Because if something truly bad rolls through were fucked. But in reality how do you even prepare for something like this

If it comes down to be able to support my family or not. I will get it, I don't want my children to get it, I would take a really hard look at home schooling ( it's not like we are not already giving it a dry run this year anyway) but putting some experimental drug that could seriously mess you up ( I really don't understand the rna aspect of it ) I will pass if given the choice

I will lose my job if I can't show I was vaccinated. It's tied to security clearance crap, so I'm hoping I will get a reprieve in December of January assuming Trump wins. I do have alternatives, but getting caught has even worse consequences than not getting one.
