Why don't we drug test congress?

I'm sure you guys have covered this before. But seriously, we drug test baseball, football and track. We drug test almost everyone except for Congress. They get on TV and do all this grandstanding, and to my knowledge, they don't take drug tests themselves.

Just one time, I would like to see on the bottom line of Cnn."Senator Joe Schmuck (R) Texas docked 4 weeks pay as result of a positive drug test."

When I was a kid, about 15, my best friends mother was a secretary for a NM legistlator. During the session she sold Bummers (magic shrooms) to at least half of the guys there DURING working hours. No matter our laws are trippy.

I know this thread was meant to be a funny comment on government. Sometimes its hard to follow their logic, but for the most part these guys are all "straight" and would test clean. Remember these are "Law enforcement officers" in the most literal sense.

LOL I seriously doubt all the people in congress are straight and would test clean, they are the most corrupt bunch out there. They make the laws and then break them every day at work.

I'd support legislation that would test each one of those morons, Maybe our country wouldn't be so F'd up because they are clear headed and clean.
