Why am I losing weight on insulin?

Hey guys -- quick question for you regarding my last week of using Novolin R (Relion) -- is it possible for some people to lose weight on slin? If so, does it indicate that there may be something wrong with my health? Here are some things below that might help you answer for my situation.

1. 5'8" 24yo, 184lbs at 7-9%bf. Currently cycling Test Prop 600mg per week and Trenavar 60mg per day. I take Adex at around .2mg as needed every 3 to 4 days. 5th cycle, always use short ester tests with a ph or dbol, come off two months, back on for 2.5 months.
2. I powerlift, and I'm competing in a few weeks at 181s.
3. For the last week, I used slin at 10ius per day, thinking I could add a few lbs of water, fat, and muscle for recovery before dehydrating before my meet.
4. The opposite has happened -- I wake up fuller but drier. I look amazing actually. However, my goal was to get a little bloated and gross (for lack of a better word). This makes me feel like maybe there is something wrong with me as everything I researched showed that slin makes you fat.

Diet:
1: 1 cup oatmeal, 10oz chocolate milk, 3 scoops whey, banana

2: 1 cup oatmeal, 16oz chicken

3. I cup oatmeal, 16 oz chicken, slin, 25g dextrose, 1 scoop whey

4: (3hrs after slin inj) 1 cup oatmeal, 16oz chicken, 25g dextrose, 1 scoop whey

5. 2 cups greek yogurt, 1 scoop whey

Diet is the same as before slin but added the sugar and an extra scoop of whey at 3 and 4. And yes, I do hate oatmeal and chicken haha. This diet also keep me around 185-190, which is critical. However, with the slin Im waking up around 183ish and going to bed around 187ish, which is a 3-4 lb differential in just a week.

If you bros need any more info or have any ideas as to whey I'm getting jacked on slin instead of bulky, please let me know. ANY help would help.

you are utilizing your food better and increasing your nutrient absorption rate. This is not uncommon for some guys to get shredded on insulin.

You need to look elsewhere for a cause of the "weight loss" you described bc TEN UNITS a day of supplemental insulin should not result in any metabolic alterations.

That's bc the "normal" secretion of insulin in adults with "regular activity" consuming an average 2000 Kal diet approximates 50 units/day, and supplementing such low doses only results in a proportional decrease of pancreatic secretion.

Can you explain this further? My research indicates that exogenous insulin in small amounts (e.g. 10iu) will ADD to the natural insulin produced. So, if I make 50iu on my own, I will be using 60iu total if I inject 10iu.
