75-85. Never had an issue with those. But I did recently add Vascepa for the benefits it showed in reducing risk of an event that was unrelated to its impact on triglycerides. What are ur triglycerides?

Damn i need to get some vascepa again…75-85. Never had an issue with those. But I did recently add Vascepa for the benefits it showed in reducing risk of an event that was unrelated to its impact on triglycerides.
My trigs have always been in that range. Just wanted to clarify that I don’t take the Vascepa for high trigs, just another harmless well tolerated agent to reduce risk. But it does work for high trigs.Damn i need to get some vascepa again…
Does taking fenofibrate with statin increase by a lot the risk of rhabdo happening ?My trigs have always been in that range. Just wanted to clarify that I don’t take the Vascepa for high trigs, just another harmless well tolerated agent to reduce risk. But it does work for high trigs.
Fenofibrate should be okay. Don't combine gemfibrozil (another drug in the fibrate class) with a statin. This will increase risk of myopathy. Another option is EPA-rich fish oil (Vascepa) to help with triglycerides.Does taking fenofibrate with statin increase by a lot the risk of rhabdo happening ?
Why increase rosu dosage? Isn't the general consensus "lower for longer"I’ve been on 10mg Ezetimibe, 5mg Rosuvastatin and 1200mg Citrus Bergamot for a month now. I’ll get labs done tomorrow to see if I get any improvement. If I see a trending downward but not too much, I’ll go 10mg Rosuvastatin.
Thankfully, I didn’t see any side effects for the statin other than a little bit of muscle pain mainly in shoulders and back. I increased Ubiquinol to 300-400mg a day and pain is gone!
I think what you want is your LDL lower for longer. Personally i would run a statin as high as you can (assuming each incremental dosage increase is still leading to a decrease in LDL) then start adding things like Zetia. However, the problem with that is tolerability. As we’ve seen from one of our members here, even Pita isn’t tolerated by everyone. So i would say run your statin at the highest tolerable dosage for as long as you can (keeping in mind what is tolerable can change over time)Why increase rosu dosage? Incredible results for only 1 month.Hey guys, I just got my labs done 1 month after I started taking 10mg ezetimibe, 5mg Rosuvastatin and 1200mg of citrus bergamot.
Previous labs View attachment 354901
New labs:View attachment 354903
This is while I’m on 600Test,, 300Npp and 200mast.
I’ll keep this treatment while blasting and then I’ll reduce or stop it and recheck labs.
Amazing results. No need to stop it after. There’s no such thing as an LdL too low. Great cycle too. One of my favs.Hey guys, I just got my labs done 1 month after I started taking 10mg ezetimibe, 5mg Rosuvastatin and 1200mg of citrus bergamot.

Never thought to combine the citrus bergamot with the statins / zetia. @Ghoul any reason to do this or to avoid?
Bad advice, always start slow and increased as needed.I think what you want is your LDL lower for longer. Brush up on your reading. Yes you don’t want to start at a high dose. But you want the highest dose you can tolerate assuming each incremental dose increase continued to lower your ldl. There is no such thing as an LDL too low. Anyone who tells you otherwise is ignorant. If 5 mg gives you an LDL of 70 and 10 gives you 40 with no sides, you take 10. If 5 mg gives you an LDL of 90 and 10 mg gives you LDL of 60 but you feel like shit and have myopathy, stay at 5 and add a non statin like zetia or bemp acid. The anti statin community is really stupid. Those who are anti statin but take lots of drugs that cause dyslipidemia are next level retarded.Bad advice, always start slow and increased as needed.
