edit- oh yeah, so what are your predictions for the PFC, Hogg. I don't even remember who's fighting, though I remember hearing a couple of killer sounding match ups. The only thing I've heard in the works is sending Sylvia over. I don't know why people think highly of him at all, but there's an awful lot of people who think he can take crocop and give Fedor a run for his money. What the hell is wrong with these people?

Who has he ever beaten? No one, really. In the last couple of years, let's see. He's beaten me, but I had also only been training for 2 months and my corner still insists to this day that I could have won that fight. He's beaten Cabbage. Big fucking whoop. Cabbage was beating his ass until he gassed. Personally, I don't think Cabbage is very good and I'd love to fight him. Ricco. good job on Tim's part, actually. I think that was more of a contrast of styles than anything that contributed to the win. Gan McGee? Another overrated, gangly, behemoth. If he beats Arlovski(his next fight) then I'll have much more respect for him. However, I don't think he has a prayer. Arlovski is the scariest UFC heavy in recent history.

i dont know who is on the card yet either...need to check that out. As far as Tim Sylvia, I'll say this much, you fought him, I didnt, so I'm not going to say the guy is not skilled.....and I sincerely doubt I could beat his ass..... and he has mowed down a pretty fair number of people. That Gan Mcgee fight was classic, boom boom, out go the lights. Ricco, boom, on his ass.....so no matter if I think he's a guy with few options, no matter if I think he's not the top notch guy in the world and no matter the fact that I think CroCop or Fedor would reduce him to a pool of unconscious blood in the ring, I still respect the fact that he is a champion. Arlovski seems to be a really good fighter....maybe Sylvia should fight him, Gan McGee certainly does not have a chance unless perhaps Arlovski is hung over or develops chronic fatigue syndrome prior to the fight. And that is not to knock gan mcgee either, I simply feel that being a 7 feet tall does not necessarily qualify a person as a good fighter. i'd bet that there are fighters a foot and a half shorter than mcgee that could knock him out if they were allowed to use stilts so that they could get close enough to his chin.....being tall and being a good fighter are two entirely different traits..perhaps he made it this far because of his reach advantage and consequent defenses as a result of his height. Its nearly impossible to punch a giraffe in the head until he bends his neck down.

I have not watched many Cabbage fights but felt that he was not very impressive in his fight with tank.....tank has few skills and cabbage didnt really work that hard on tank...he simply outclassed him.....but then again, you would not see me down in HB challenging tank....nor kimo for that matter....even fighters that are not that great in UFC and Pride are scary people.

On another note, xmas eve with the familia is over and so here I am to wish (once again) a merry xmas to all of my meso friends.

This match is as stupid as it gets. Why they pit Minowa against Rampage is just beyond me. They have Kondo now.The only explanation i could think of is if they're afraid Kondo would get beaten by Rampage, which'll be a bad start for him in Pride.

Yuki Kondo vs. Mario "The Zen Master" Sperry
Call me crazy, but i have a lot of faith in Kondo. I think it's goin' to be Kondo.

Hayato "Mach" Sakurai vs. Daiju Takase
Pride has a nasty habit of putting a "joke" match in every card, and this is Shockwave's joke for this year. Sakurai will cream Takase he'd barely get out of the ring alive.

Wataru Sakata vs. Ryan Gracie
I don't care that much about this match, but i don't want two cracie's to lose in the same night, i hope Ryan wins this one.

For UFC 47, there's a more important match than Sylvia's (who cares about Sylvia anyway?), there's Tito vs. Chuck.

A loss of a great friend has me a little extra sentimental and cautious this holiday season, so I just wanted to remind everyone to be safe. Dave was a sargeant in the corps, @ home working and @ school at night. Just driving home from school, minding his business and bang. He's gone. It's amazing to me how someone so strong and full of life can be ripped from us so damn quickly. He was a good bro and will be sadly missed.. Everyone have a happy and more importantly SAFE New Year.

Am with you on that one, Tito will G'n'P him. It's just sad that it took this long to happen, it's not as exciting anymore. This sucks, it always takes too long, and people will lose interest (eventually). Kimo vs. Tank, Tito vs. Chuck, Coleman vs Frye II, Fedor vs. Cro-Cop, and the list goes on..

I hope yoshida wins eventhough I'm sick of hearing the nuthuggers run their mouths about how good he is. Rampage has obviously gotten in with the management since they're now just feeding him a little bitch. I also think Sperry will probably win, but that's because I'm not that familiar with Kondo. That and I always like to see the japanese guys get beat. I do kind of like Sakuraba, though.

Sperry's got all odds on his side, but Kondo.. boy is he crazy.
