Which Ester?

If my doctor gives me options or if I suggest an ester, which should I go for? Enanthate, Cypionate, etc. ...?

There are close enough alike to be interchangeable.

cyps half-life is a tiny bit longer and ethanate would spike u a tiny bit higher.......same difference...................if your paying for it yourself i believe ethanate is cheaper.......i would check on that though..........

I do want to inject twice a week. I can't decide if I want to go for the once a week protocol or the twice per week protocol. If I experience a dramatic crash and climb, I'll go for twice a week.

I always thought Cyp was cheaper and longer lasting ester.

BTW, I don't know where some people get that TRT is expensive (I'm not talking about pellets, transdermals, creams, etc.). This is what I found.

From a WALGREENS pharmacy...

10ml - $123.99

If I inject 100mg of Test weekly, then this vial will last me 20 weeks!

That's 6 dollars and 20 cents a week!?!

I'm confused. How is this expensive.

Injecting is not expensive. Even including the alcohol pads syringes etc.

Insurance did not pay for Depo-Test or the syringes but I got 20 weeks worth of depo-test and 100 syringes for about $135. 20 weeks of Androgel - with insurance paying was running me $200.00.

Well I thought (I read it somewhere in some book once) that Cyp had a half life closer to 7 days while Enthanate was more like 4-5 days. With many drugs, you usually dose with the half life. So Cyp would inject once a week and Ent would be twice a week or maybe every 5 days I would think.

Just like drugs such as Advil or decongestants (pseudoephedrine) - their half lifes are around 4 hours, so you can dose every 4-6 hours.
