My understanding is that CEE doesn't have to be cycled or loaded. The only reason I can think of to cycle off CEE is so you don't develop a tolerance to it. See http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/cee.html for some info.
If you're going to use creatine, you definitely want CEE not monohydrate.

lots of guys load it but i have read where at the end of the 30 days, there was no difference. ALso, when you take it is important. I dont know if my info is out of date or not, but Bryan Haycock had a couple of studies showing it was best to take creatine preworkout.

Short term the CEE should be better but has there been anything definite to show muscle levels are any better with CEE vs monohydrate after 40 days for instance?

It doesn't have to be cycled, but I have to load it otherwise I get absolutely nothing from it. I never was that big of a cee person, I still like micronized creatine the best.
You cannot build up a tolerance to creatine.
 
you cant build up a tolerance to creatine, or yet maybe you can who knows?

but i remember everyone in the past telling me to cycle it, 6 months on and a few months off..

of course i didnt listen, and around 2 years after taking it straight, i went to the doctor and they said there was a stone in my kidney ! they had to stick a f'en needle in my back left side, where the kidney is and take a peice out!

from then on i cycle creatine
 
Did you tell the doc that you were supplementing with creatine? Elevated creatinine levels in your body can signal all kinds of kidney problems...you need to educate a doc otherwise he won't be smart enough to ask if you are introducing creatine in your system causing elevated levels.
 
I take 20 grams for two days and then i lower the dose to 15 grams for 3 days. That's the so called loading phase. After these five days i usually stick to 5 grams post-workout for a month or even 6 weeks and then i stay clean for a month. After a that, i can start again if i like.
 
I find I can only take creatine with grape juice. (DEXTROSE) anything else it doesn't get uptook fast enough and hurts my stomach.
