Hi all, first of all I hope your doing well. In currently having a odd situation. I've got lower energy and drive and my nipples itch quite often. I've come to realize it's due to my progesterone being .7ng/ml and my 17 hydroxyprogesterone is at 4.65ng/ml. I keep getting told by my endo that this isn't why I'm feeling bad but I just don't believe him. Ive been trying to find the source and lower those levels so I took corticosteroids to shut down the adrenals which is where the 2 progesterones are typically thought to be produced, and they actually rose higher than they were before the corticosteroids. I assume it's possible the production isn't in the adrenal glands but in the testicles, or am I wrong? I want to find the source but I'm not sure how. My endo said if I'm that curious to know if it's being made in my testis to take a medicine called Triptorelin and it should shut down the P being made in the testis after 3 weeks but I wanted you guys' opinion.
