What's your go-to source for supplements? (protein, creatine, etc.)

Idk creatine is creatine doesn’t really matter what brand as long as it’s monohydrate. If you’re using whey tho it does matter on what you get. Some herbal supplements help but not much like ashwagandha. When I take ashwagandha my dreams are wild and I’m not as stressed out as much. seems to be the only herbal supplement that actually does anything from what I’ve taken. Ecdysterone and other psytosteroids are questionable I’ve taken it didn’t notice that much but there is studies that claim it speeds up protein synthesis
What brand and strength ashwanda

Regarding protein if we cant get meals eaten w regular food is having say 5 shakes a day okay?
Protein shakes are not meant to replace a meal.
Did you mean "you cant get it down because its hard, or its not possible for you in that moment" ?

My circumstances dont always allow for cooking in quantity or meal prepping. My other option is protein shakes or bars. This isnt a long term thing only about 6 months. Are shakes not as effective as food or just harder on the body?

They def not provide the same benefits as whole foods, but they can still be effective, in your case when you just can't do it, and there is no other option.

Of course, you are missing out on vitamins, minerals, and dietary fiber, but I don't see other practical solutions to meet your protein needs.

Only pre-made meals those with subscriptions, where you pay monthly or weekly and they provide you with already pre-made meals for you.

Yeah in my scenario I can't even get a fridge so pre-made meals won't work either. This is only for 6 months and even then only a few days a week. I just need to get 200G protein in a day on those days and I get only 2 meals (that I don't choose) so there's no way I can get protein requirements in on those days. I mean if protein powder is good for 1 meal replacement why not more. That's my thinking. Obviously not long term but short term it can't be all that bad. Thanks for the response.
