Is there a lump? Is the injection spot red and hot? If so there is a good chance you have an infection. Personally if this was the case I would go see a doctor before it gets worse.

If not you can chauk it up to roid flu and you'll just have to wait it out.

Not to hijack this thread, but I've got some redness in the area around my last inj. Except I have no swollen baseball size lumps, no fever, no sweats.
It hurts like hell to the touch, but otherwise I wouldn't know it was there if it wasn't for the 3'' red circle on my thigh...
I was considering seeing the doc, but would like to avoid it if I can.

If it is an infection, and I'm sure some of you have gone through this personnaly, what does the doc do?
A script for pills?
A shot to the inf area?
Amputation?

For you I wouldn't worry cause I'm not... j/k I've gotten the red spot from gear with to much BA in it

If you have the red spot, it's hot and there is a huge lump then there a good chance of infection... if that is the case the doc will prescribe an antibiotic and possibly drain the abscess (if there is one)

Give it one more day.... if there is no improvement in the lump and redness go see a doc

IMO there's no good reason NOT to see a doc right away. If you have insurance it costs you $10, why not put your health first and get peace of mind??

There isn't... i just HATE the doctor... plus I have had the infection clear up on its own... But everybody is different

Listen to your body. If you think you need to go, there is no reason not to.

I had something like that happen to me once when I injescted PL's high dose enth and EQ in my left delt. My shoulder and arm were hot to the touch, very red, and the swelling went from my shoulder all the way down to the middle of my forearm. It made my forearm looked deformed. Looking back I should've gone to the doc to be sure it wasn't infected, but instead I waited it out and it finally started going away after a week and a half or so. Oh yeah, I remember my fingers being somewhat numb, probably b/c the swelling was pushing something against a nerve. I think mine was a result of the high BA content of the oils and thats probably what yours is too, but you can never be too careful so you should probably go see a doc.

I took a shot in the thigh the other day and it must have gotten infected. I couldn't touch it, walk on that particular leg, it was hot, red and swelling (lol, get the mind out of the gutter) but the next day it got a little better, and today it has gotten better again. I think in another day or 2 the pain should be mostly gone but a little swelling may persist. (ps-i had no other issues with the previous shots so thats why i'm thinking it's an infection) If it does get worst i will seee a Dr. and so should you

tommy you are having a somewhat normal reaction to shooting a gram of hormone in 1 spot...test flu and a large swollen hard injection site....take advil, use a heating pad...but basically time is the only thing that will work.....split the shots up from now on...

Bottom line the symptoms should improve- might take a bit, but they shouldn't get worse from this point on. If they worsen then you need a doc.
