What now?

Hey all!
Quick update here - after trying to get a workout in at the gym today, and feeling horrible (wanted to stop after 1 bench press as I felt 80 years old again), I decided to just visit GPs in the area until I found one that would listen.
So I go to my first appointment, and lo and behold he's open to TRT! But....he doesn't really know about it.
He wrote me a script for depo-test, 50mg every 2 weeks. He wants to start off slow. I don't understand this...wouldn't 50mg every 2 weeks shut down my natural production, and give me only enough testosterone to feel how I do now (that is, shitty)?
Any advice? I am guessing I should take in SWALE's protocol for HRT to him.

Went back to the doctor and showed him SWALE's protocol; luckily for me the patient before me was seeing an endocrinologist and was following something akin to what SWALE recommends. He wrote me the new script for 100mg depo-test every week to be injected by a doctor.
Rad!

That sounds great! Glad you were able to work it out. Now you just need to educate him a little bit more and you'll be all set!

Might want to check to see if there's anyone else on here in your area who needs a good doc too!

I'm in Surrey, British Columbia, Canada. Surrey is about 20 minutes from Vancouver.

Anybody who wants more info, feel free to send me a PM.

That's great that you found a physician open to TRT. Just curious though: did he happen to do any bloodwork on your prior to prescribing the TRT? Getting a baseline can be a big help in determining the effects of the TRT down the road.

He had bloodwork prescribed by another doctor from 2 weeks ago, as well as previous tests from the past year (with more results coming in this week).
