I personally take Anavite in the pill form. 6 horse pills a day. Lol

Just curious what everyone else takes for a multivitamin.

GNC megaman multi for me

I took mega men everyday since I was 19 when I started lifting 18 years ago. I just recently switched to Anavite. Might go back to them because I don't notice any difference over the last few months of taking Anavite.

New Chapter. no vitamin effects me. I know I was low on B vitamin, cause it took 4 days to show up in my piss. I never feel better or worse by taking them or not taking them.

I used to take a 1/2 serving of GNC Megamen (1 tablet), but have since switched to Vitamin Shoppe's Whole Food Men's One Daily in an effort to get away from the vitamin mega-dosing.

A good variety of food :)

I think most peoples vitamin needs can be covered perfectly with diet alone. You would have to be eating egregiously bad to even need a multi, and even then its kind of like putting a band aid on a bullet wound.

Certain people might need to supplement with vitamins for specific reasons, like Vegans taking B12, but most people are covered if they have a good diet.

Douglas Laboratories. The only vitamins from actual food sources wirh the enzymes needed to process the vitamin.

I also take the injectable b complex from pharmacist.

Dang and I thought my vitamins were expensive. Which ones do you take? I was looking at the Ultra Preventative X a while back when I started the Anavite but just couldn't bring myself to spend that much. Do you feel any more energy or notice anything while taking them?
My problem is not just energy but immune system. Seems like every time my kids come home from school with some kind of bug I always end up catching it. I never got sick until I had kids. My Wife doesn't take any vitamins and she is never sick. Go figure.

dude i take a ton of vitamins.

  • megaman multi vitamin
  • fish oil
  • co-Q10
  • NAC (N-acetyl Cysteine)
  • Saw Palmetto
  • Milk Thistle/Himalaya Liver Care

I know they're expensive, brutus told me about them awhile back just haven't pulled the trigger yet..

I never got sick either before these rug rats!! They got me sick during my last 2 cycles.. I start again on 9/28, would be worth it if I can avoid that happening again..

Centrum silver. B6, fish oil cap. Tried them all and the only result I noticed was, I spent more money for the same results.

They are the only vitamins I did notice a difference with besides injectable b complex... energy and waking up easier... you have to take eight per day with food. Ultra prevent x and NOT the vegetarian ones.

The reason people take vitamins with no effect is twofold... one is that your body does not recognize a synthetic vitamin- it doesn't bear enough resemblance to the foods you system extracts them out of. The second is that when processing foodstuffs for vitamins your body utilizes the enzymes in the food to break down and assimilate which are absent in 99.9% of vitamins. Douglas is food derived and necessary enzymes present from that food.

I forgot I also take nordic naturals fish oil. Any fish oil that does not have mercury removed is poison.

A good rule of thumb is that if you get vitamins from walmart or walgreens, cvs, etc they are worthless and/or poison.

I can voucher for the b complex vitamins. I take b6 & b12 before bed and in the morning and I never slept better
