What is your Reta dose? (and a cautionary peptide story)

Trial dosing is wild - 8mg and 12mg weekly.

I tried slowly ramping up the dose to "activate the glucagon mechanism" over a 3-4 month period but had to stop after 3-4mg made my RHR way too high. Stopped for 6 weeks and RHR and HRV are back to normal.

Tried Triz (small dose, 1mg) as an alternative with the idea that I will get appetite suppression without the cardiac and sympathetic activation. Unfortunately I had a legit anaphylactic reaction to it. Injection site swelled up immediately within minutes, itchy and red, whole body was itchy and over the next 8 hrs developed hives all over my body and facial/lip angio edema. I tried to control it with prednisone and benadryl and cirtirizine over a 4-6 hr period but I assume it was slowliy leaking into my blood stream and it kept getting worse and worse. About 10 hrs after injection it peaked, I was 5 minutes away from going to the ER due to my oral angioedema when I decided to just bite the bullet and use the epi pen. Slammed it into my thigh, It worked, took two doses spread apart by about 15 mintues but stopped the reaction. I can never touch Tirz again.

Would like to try Reta but I am going to start super low, 0.5mg a week and slowly dial it in from there. I can't imagine taking 12mg a week.

What's your Reta dose?
 
3 mg/w currently. Started at 1 mg, up to 2 after 5 weeks, 5 weeks at 2 then 3. Its been going well. Losing weight. No sides except some minor constipation. I like that if I want to eat more, I can, and not feel sick.
 
Currently at 8mg. Started at 1mg and increased by 1mg weekly to 4mg. Held at 4mg for 4 weeks before increasing to 8mg. Currently the only real sides I'm having is skin sensitivity. Not intolerable but can be uncomfortable at times. I do have to put in effort to get the calories (2000-2500/day) . I've went from 265 (25%+ bf) to 238(17-19% bf) (eyeballing bodyfat, haven't dexa scanned or anything) since Nov 8 with no lean muscle loss and likely gained. Other than Reta, I'm on Test E 250mg/wk (125x2) Training 3-4 times a week following all sessions with 30min step mill with the exception of legs. Also train jiu jitsu 3 times a week with an open mat on Saturdays, which is pretty cardio intense. My goal is to get to at or below 220 (10-12%) by around April, then I'll bring in the quick esters and work on getting to 7-9% for summer and then cruise, give myself a receptor reset before I start a fall bulk and get myself on track.

I'm coming back from a long layoff where I sat around on my ass and allowed myself to turn into a fat ass.

Receptor reset? For what receptors? Androgen receptors don't down regulate or need a reset.
 
Went up to 8mg/wk. this was my dosing schedule. Worked well. Bulking up now. I’ll start again end of March after a break. 8mg, ran for 6 weeks. Started getting some skin sensitivity (on both lats, was weird), and hypo at times. I was passed the point of needing the 8mg/wk. This pep is an awesome tool! Definitely kept my bg in check! Energy came back after being on it a mth. I’ll tell you rhis, I could eat whatever tf I wanted, anytime.. Lipids stayed in check. Has been a dope experience so far!
